But really, that was a fun game for the cycle and a half that I was alive.

And yes, I did get your reference Steph.

Great game Epics! I like how the Reckoners were the "bad guys" in this game(You were all the evil ones though.  :P).

Thanks for running the game Phatt! I had a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to our final battle(well, hopefully it's Perseus' final battle!  :P) I'll try to get some RP up before the battle happens(just in case we die ).

Just wondering if you had it on yourself. By the way, is that a "Summon Bigger Fish" reference I detect?

Yes, it is. :)

Thank you. I saw it, just didn't get a screenshot.

So when's the next game?

Signups for MR11 will be put up probably sometime today. (Depending on your definition of "today".)

Well that was fun. I was *this* close to not dying. Also, I was right at the end there. I was trying to do the "right" thing and save her! (It's an epic, so is it still right?) But I was brutally murdered. Looking forward to the final writeup! I wouldn't be surprised if Phatt actually made a player Perseus. I would kinda fit in with what he's done so far. Almost survived. But I didn't.  :(  Great game everyone, and thank you so much for GMing this Phatt.

Tyler stood to one side of Perseus, trying to make sure to keep him surrounded with his two Reckoner friends, and keep them all guarded with a Forcefield all at once.

It should be 4 of us here. It doesn't feel right somehow, being here like this, at the end of our mission, without Renee. She was the one with the vision. The one with the dream of freeing California from this monster, and how did it repay her? A swift end, without even her friends to defend her or stand by her side. I should have done something then. Anything. But no. I had my orders. We have to take down Perseus "no matter the cost." So be it. If I have to give my own life to kill him, I'll do it.

Tyler straightened his back.

It's now or never. I can't let Renee's sacrifice be in vain.

"Perseus" Tyler said coldly as he slowly approached the throne where Perseus awaited them. "For your vile- nay your monstrous crimes against humanity and the people of California, we've come for a Reckoning. You killed my friend. You've forced even your subjects to fight and kill each other. You Epics disgust me. You cannot be allowed to continue your reign of bloodshed and terror. I will stop you." Tyler thought of his own betrayal. "I was even forced to kill my own sister to save her from herself. The only mercy I could grant her was a swift end. You don't even deserve that. However, since there's still so many more Epics to bring down, we will end you. Right here. Right now." Tyler smiled. "We've been observing you Perseus. You think you kept your weakness safe. You think you protected your thoughts good enough. Well, it's time to find out."

Tyler reached into his coat and pulled out a small music player. "What do you think of THIS!!!" He exclaimed as he began to play the record of 1940's jazz he had recorded on the device.

I'm bringing a chicken to the fight. Just to solve any technical issues, it is Schrodinger's chicken. Dead and alive.

Edit: By which I mean that if Perseus decides to be technical and say, "Oh guys? Guys? It has to be a dead (or alive) chicken," I will be prepared.

Kamyle stood in the semicircle, glaring down at Perseus. She felt sick to her stomach, but she couldn't let that show. She had hated killing Locke. She just wanted to leave, right now. But she couldn't. She was sure she knew Perseus's weakness. She breathed in deeply, tried to keep her voice from shaking, and said:

"Pursee-us, yoo r goeeng doun. eye hayt yoo four wut yoo mayd mee dou! eye promees thet eye will mayk up four wut eye hav doun, bt yoo r two fer goun. eye hayt yoo!!!!!!!!"

She took a breath mint from a tin in her pocket and plopped it into her mouth, hands shaking. That bad grammar had tasted awful. Yuck.

Then, for good measure, she chalked: "D0wn w1th P{r${us. He 1$ @ $t1nk{r!" onto the throne.

She had done the best she could do. Now it was time to see the results.

So why haven't any reckoners put in a lynch order for Perseus yet? I imagine that will make the write-up more in their favor.

Uh, because I don't have anything against him? He's just a leader trying to do the best for his people. Plus, he's killed basically all the Epics we had a beef with. I realize you're Paranoid, but at some point you have to realize that compromise is necessary. We can't just kill everyone because "we want them dead." Edited by Guest

Well, unfortunately, it's well past time to lock this game up. So unless Phatt wants to reopen it at a later date to do the aftermath, I guess we'll never know if The Reckoners wound up defeating Perseus. :(

That said, the bigger showdown for me was the one between the Reckoners and our Epic players! Congrats to the Reckoners for the win. You did David and the rest proud. :)

I really like how Phatt combined the powers as well. That was a nice touch that I think really kept everyone on their toes.

Now, as always, if anyone would like to try your hand at running a game, please get a hold of GammaWilson,  Alvron, or myself. Not only will we get you added to the list, but I'm sure we'd be more than willing to help out in any way we can as well!

You can also ask questions and get some hints and feedback from everyone over here in our Art of Game Creation thread as well. With all the games that we've run so far, we have plenty of experienced GMs that can help you refine any game you're thinking about!

Thanks again to everyone that played and we look forward to seeing you in future games!
