    Hey guys, I'm really not going anywhere with this, mainly because I've sworn myself off of the shard for a while, having found it as addictive as YouTube. In closing, (although I will probably be back SOMETIME or other,) If anybody out there wants to start their own RP, go for it! There's no rule against it, and there are plenty of great people out there willing to support a person who has big ideas, even if they have small reputation.     XD That's not a problem for me because I haven't read the Stormlight books yet. Welcome to the shard Xariah! Nice to meet you! It seems like most people want me to start an Elantris RP, so I'll start from there and try to work out some more details. Thanks for posting guys. Helps me keep going.

    Oh, thanks. I actually haven't read Mistborn or Warbreaker, due to some personal issues. Sorry. No spikes for me. Thanks for the tip though. It'll probably come in handy later.

    Hello to anybody who is reading this. I would like to start an RP, but am hampered by a few things, in my mind, the most prevalent one is that I'm pretty new and don't have a lot of reputation. There's not much I can do about that though, so please be brave enough to stick with me, and I'll hope this goes somewhere. I would like this RP to be set in either the Elantris or Steelheart world, although some non-Brandon stuff would be alright too. If you have a suggestion, you can just ask, because I'm totally open to suggestions, and if this ever gets off the ground, wouldn't mind having co-GM's too. I want it to be a pretty loose RP, and I would like it to be fun too. Me being who I am, pretty high levels of silliness are allowed, but intentionally irreverent, obnoxious, or idioticness might not be as well responded to. I typically check my threads pretty often, so you shouldn't have to wait very long to get a reply from me. Anyways, I can't wait for this to get started! Thank you, in advance, for any contributions!

SOTRWUHATDTYDOOIAL. This is actually the first stanza of a song. Bonus points if you can guess which one, and NOT use the actual words of the song in your answer.

    And if it seems like I ignore posts, it's typically because it takes me a long time to post things, and so the page isn't refreshed until after I post it.

    If this is allowed, I would like to be a Jindoeese youngling (about 10?) She was raised in a small dojo by a happy bubbling waterfall. This was, of course, after having been stolen from her mother (who died shortly afterwards anyhow,) and raised in a dark, shadowed place until she was about four. While she lived there, a man with big, ugly hands would whip and beat her, anytime he was provoked. One day, he didn't come back to the little hollow where they lived. Jia had never understood why she always needed to stay in the dark, smelly hollow, and she was hungry. She went outside. She heard frightening noises, and saw bright torches that hurt her un-adjusted eyes. It was scary, so she ran away. After two days, an old ChayShan follower found her crying in an alleyway, and took her, biting and struggling, back to the monastery. When she arrived, she was sound asleep in the second pair of arms that had ever held her gently. She barely remembers her previous life, and perhaps as a side effect, she finds it difficult to remember things, especially long term. When she turned ten, she decided that she was ready to find her own way, and snuck away from the monastery. She meant to bring food with her, but she forgot. And at the monastery, they'd always found their own food anyways.

    When I think about this, it seems a little unfair. You can pretty much either be an elantrian, and do pretty much whatever you want, or you can be a dakhor monk and be normal with some epic abilities, or you can be a commoner, and pretty much do nothing except be ignored, (useful,) or be comic relief. (Not fun.) Personally, I would like to be a Jindoeese practitionor of the ChayShan magic or whatever they're called, but I don't really know much about them, except that they use martial arts and magic to increase their strength and speed. I suppose I can kind of go off of that.

    Kamyle stood in the semicircle, glaring down at Perseus. She felt sick to her stomach, but she couldn't let that show. She had hated killing Locke. She just wanted to leave, right now. But she couldn't. She was sure she knew Perseus's weakness. She breathed in deeply, tried to keep her voice from shaking, and said: "Pursee-us, yoo r goeeng doun. eye hayt yoo four wut yoo mayd mee dou! eye promees thet eye will mayk up four wut eye hav doun, bt yoo r two fer goun. eye hayt yoo!!!!!!!!" She took a breath mint from a tin in her pocket and plopped it into her mouth, hands shaking. That bad grammar had tasted awful. Yuck. Then, for good measure, she chalked: "D0wn w1th P{r${us. He 1$ @ $t1nk{r!" onto the throne. She had done the best she could do. Now it was time to see the results.

    A shadowed figure watched as Steph passed below. It silently followed, sneaking across pre-planned paths over the rooftops. As Steph walked through an alleyway, The Messenger let a small piece of paper slip from its hand. It was connected to wrench. Fortunately for Steph, it hit the concrete behind her. Steph whipped her head around, but all there was to see was a small wrench lying on the ground, a paper wrapped around it. The Messenger was gone. Queen Steph picked up the paper. It read: "Queen Steph, Lopen has nothing to fear from me, but people are starting to connect us. You must know, I can't let this happen. I am attached to no one, and trusted of no one. And that's how it will stay. " As Steph finished reading, she realized something that long ago, would have brought bile to her mouth. Her name was signed in blood.

    I've got to agree with you PK. Maybe I just feel offended because he's targeting me, but he totally seems to be shuffling the blame off on other people. I would vote for him, but I'm also highly convinced that Lopen is an eliminator, and I just want to get rid of them one at a time, and make sure that they're gone.

    LOL. Lopen, I don't see what's so suspicious about me being voted for before I joined and then unvoted. Wait a second, I do. What I really don't see is why you would suspect me for this. This wasn't me; This was Bridge Boy. I will admit that I see him on a daily basis, but I try to keep SE to the forums. I'm voting on him for the same reasons I said before. Clanky, I'm sorry for voting for you last cycle. I had a gut feeling, and I was running out of time, but after looking through your posts again, I don't suspect you anymore. Sorry.
