TwelfthOfSnackTime he/him Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 So I recently started watching the series Agents of Shield and it made me really want a book from Sanderson that is all about some elite group of 17th Sharders from different worlds and their adventures throughout the Cosmere. The purpose of this thread is to brainstorm what sort of adventures and Shenanigans this team would encounter. 6
Lord Ruler he/him Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 This is great!!! Not only do I love the idea, but I also love agents of shield!!! My question is who would the characters be? I think we would have Gallodon, the depressing dula from Elantris (not sure how to pronounce his name) and Yomen, the atium misting from Mistborn 3 because we know they are world hoppers. (An intermission from stormlight archive has what many shaders theorize to be them.) I think we should add in who ever writes the ars arcanums as a higher level agent, as they write all these reports of the worlds. We could add Vasher as we know he somehow world hops, and maybe some other new people introduced, because this is a quite dry cast on the humor front so far. On a side note- I heard agents of shield season 3 is coming out soon, although I haven't been able to find a date. Do you know when? I NEED another season soon, the show is so good!

Demoux is the world hopper not Yomen. Season 3 was showing on ABC all fall on Tues nights in the US. If you are waiting for season 3 on something like netflix, that probably won't be until next August or September.

Alfa he/him Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Ranette had not much screentime yet, but the gunsmith (and overall tech) with the tendencie to shoot at innocent but annoying people would make great in a worldhopper team. Also, Hoid (supposedly innocent and permanently annoying) can easily survive one or two shots a day. 1

I imagine something like this: Vasher- Reluctant old Veteran who is assigned this team Galadon and/or Demoux- Veteran who goes way back with Vasher/ has worked with him before Random Scadrian- Hotshot newbie, probably a twinborn Jasnah or another similar new Radiant- fit in as they would with whatever Order they are from MeLaan and Wayne- Undercover operatives And of course we've got to save room for any unknowns from other Shard worlds we do not know of yet. Plus this is just the active team. The backround group like techs and data analysis is a whole nother story.
