  1. No really, that's it. Im gonna go crazy with everything that's happened and i have no idea how to use a spoiler tag (the mobile site is a bit..limited).
  2. Make Wayne a worldhopper. Then we'll all go bonkers when he and Hoid have a dialogue.
  3. Well that's a shutdown. but thanks for the thoughts!
  4. Okay, so I'm a complete noob when it comes to Cosmere theories and all, but reading Sanderson just makes me crazy. So shoot me down anytime people The theory is simple but hard to explain due to the lack of evidence. I've been lurking around a lot of other threads and pretty much connected some dots. Each Shardworld has a specific number of people that exhibit powers/control above average for their respective form of Investiture. These powers in no way exemplifies the Intent of their Shard, but somehow the choosing or Initiation process do. For now let's call these people as a whole as Champions--for lack of a better term. A lot of explaining and logical leaps, I know. The actual theory though, is how Odium 'kills' other Shards. They may seem unrelated at first glance but what if it's as simple as turning or making these Champions change? It's a stretch but it somehow fits with the Catacendre in Roshar, AND also feels right up Rayse's alley. Chaos and all that. What if, in some way, "Odium reigns" means "Chaos has corrupted that in which we believe in"? Thoughts?
  5. Thanks a lot for all the answers. ) now where can I post a theory?
  6. Thank you! So basically, they're NOT confirmed champions, but exemplify their shard's intent fairly well thus gains superiority? And the only reason we don't see that in Roshar is because we just know too little (as of now)?
  7. That spike though, wouldn't it be a simpler explanation if it were, say, an alloy of atium?
  8. Is there proof here that states each Shardworld chooses a form of Champion accordingly? Like Mistborn, Returned, Radiant, Elantrian, that sort of thing? Or is it more of a theory?
  9. I'm holiday lost. Why do you give people cookies again?
  10. So I've more than not polished up on all those years spent ignorant of the cosmere but there are a few questions that I'd really appreciate if you could answer. 1. In SoS, it's plainly stated that Ruin's power is to "talk" while Preservation's is to "hear". It very much contradicts the moments in HoA where Preservation's power was used to convey messages. Could anyone help me out with this? I'm confused. 2. I was just wondering if a theory that I've been able to piece up was correct. In SA, a lot of visions said that Rayse must choose a champion, and that they (shards i assume) follow a set of rules, and must abide by them. Sixth of the Dust confirmed this but doesn't this just jumble the purpose of human beings in Scadrial? Therefore Ruin and Preservation were only following a guidebook of sorts when they made mankind, hinting the existence of at least one more shard that we hadn't met before. 3. Lastly, I've seen this around a lot but I just don't know the sources, so... What confirmation do you have that Galladon and Demoux are from the 17th shard? And also how Zahel is Vasher? Sorry for being woefully ignorant but yeah thanks
  11. Yes, I'd love one. thank you for that. I'll start skimming through it immediately. One more thing though, what are the books that are in the cosmere?
  12. Hi. I've been reading Sanderson's novels for almost 5 years now, and I just figured out the cosmere last week. I know I suck. It just sort of jumped out on me after I read SoS, so basically what I'm asking is if anyone here could help me out..? Thanks anyway.
