I guess so. thanks.

Obviously, doing what you can first is best, but sometimes you can't. Especially w.r.t to coworkers - often you're stuck with them, and you can't do anything to change them.

I'm going to try very hard to keep this neutral, but....are you there with him every day? Do you work with him? Do you hear the things he says and does? Do you know more about the situation than the people involved in it?

No?

Then I don't think you are qualified to be the moral arbiter of this situation. Kindly keep your judgements to yourself.

Twi, we love you. You're being snappy. Take a deep breath and some hugs, k?

So, I have decided that having an IV in my arm is uncomfortable.

And annoying. Especially as now I can't really use that hand to read my book, and here I am waiting.

Why do you have an IV in your arm in the first place? Did I miss something? What are you waiting for? :o

Just for the dye for a CT angiogram. I had some white matter lesions show up on an MRI a while ago. Had a brief scare that I had MS, but I'm clear of that (thank heavens). Looks like there's nothing actually wrong with me, but my doctor is being thorough and checking for EVERYTHING (even though we think I have nothing).

The dye felt really interesting though! Kinda like how I imagine magical healing would feel - a warm, extremely strong tingling sensation all throughout my body, following my bloodstream. Burning without being painful - just warm. A bit like the way whiskey feels going down your throat, but in your blood and all over.

Wish I was that lucky when I had my stint in the hospital. They got me high on a bunch of pain medications so I couldn't feel anything but pain. It actually sucked.

Iv's do stink, but at least it isn't forever. If what you say is true, you just get to tell your friends that you went to the hospital, and they'll think it was something sick.

Personal Complaint: I have this one sweatshirt I really like wearing, but for some reason one of the scummier kids who is in my friend group keeps giving me grief for it, just because it is dirty. This same dude also keeps telling me I "look like a school shooter". I can't report him to the principle lest I become ostracized. He's generally unliked but snitching is considered all around dickery.

If it makes you feel any better school will be over before you know it, and you will have no need to ever see this person again. Personally I would rather be ostracized than bullied (depending on the severity and frequency of it). Sorry if none of this is helpful. Good luck!

Wear the sweatshirt. Wear it every day. Wear it on days when it doesn't make sense. Buy a different pin for every day of the week and wear those on the sweatshirt. Wear it backward, wear it inside out, and if you can manage to wear it upside down, do it. (And send us a pic, because I really want to see that.) This isn't about the sweatshirt; this is a power play. He's using shame and teasing to get you to do some arbitrary thing that he thinks you ought to do, and you need to let him know, in every way possible, that you don't answer to him. Once he realizes that he has no power over you, he should knock it off.

Okay, I know it's only been eight days since I joined, but all of my CP matches can't be inactive accounts. Some of the women I've reached out to have to have said "Thanks, but no thanks."

This is depressing.

*hugs

Hmm. How often do you go out and socialise? and I mean irl.

Don't worry, you just have to keep trying. Some day, you'll find the one. Usually, it happens when it's least expected, but it doesn't hurt to try and find that special someone.

This is true. My original policy for high school dating was "don't do it, unless you're the one being asked". I was not at all expecting to be asked. :P
