Allomancy she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Someone get this song out of my head! This refrain won't let me go! Noooooooooo!!!! Now you got it in our heads!!!
Zathoth Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Someone get this song out of my head! This refrain won't let me go! You are welcome. I'm the first member of the resident creepy guild. Which happened because I was the first person on a list of people to avoid in dark alleys. I'll let you decide what that means. We should have a creep off some day, you and I. I am not even sure thats a thing, but anyway. Edited January 7, 2016 by Morzathoth
Stormgate he/him Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Iiit's a small world after all..... Also, I am thinking about making a competition, the winner gets to put "The creepiest member of the 17th Shard" on their sig or title, if they choose. I'm thinking about having some events like taking a harmless object and telling a creepy story. There would be a poll for each event. The only things I need are more events and a list of people who want to do it.
Delightful Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Isn't that kind of how the Dark Alley started?
Stormgate he/him Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 This is more competitive and it's smaller. The DA is the kingdom of the dark, this decides their ruler.
Voidus Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 This is more competitive and it's smaller. The DA is the kingdom of the dark, this decides their ruler. Well when I made it I emphasized that we don't have a ruler, I was merely the first of many.

Stormgate he/him Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 So, what do you guys think? Voidus and Morzathoth specifically, but anyone can give ideas for events.
Kaymyth she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 So, what do you guys think? Voidus and Morzathoth specifically, but anyone can give ideas for events. I...think that this is the equivalent of gazing into the abyss, letting it gaze back into you, and then starting to pull faces and throw bits of popcorn at it. 5

Voidus Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I...think that this is the equivalent of gazing into the abyss, letting it gaze back into you, and then starting to pull faces and throw bits of popcorn at it. We're called the Dark Alley, we've been friends with the abyss so long that I'm planning on making him my best man. 4
Delightful Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 How about a sentence by sentence game, one line is super happy and rainbows and sunshine and the next person has to make it creepy and then the next person has to make rainbows etc etc? 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 How about a sentence by sentence game, one line is super happy and rainbows and sunshine and the next person has to make it creepy and then the next person has to make rainbows etc etc? That sounds fun.
Mistrunner Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 How about a sentence by sentence game, one line is super happy and rainbows and sunshine and the next person has to make it creepy and then the next person has to make rainbows etc etc?Ah, sort of like the fortunately/unfortunately car game?
Kaymyth she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 We're called the Dark Alley, we've been friends with the abyss so long that I'm planning on making him my best man. I think you should make him wear a white tux, just for the lulz. 2
Voidus Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I think you should make him wear a white tux, just for the lulz. He was adamant that he would only come if he could cloak himself in the nightmares of innocents.
Delightful Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) He was adamant that he would only come if he could cloak himself in the nightmares of innocents. so not actually all that terrible nightmares then. Think about it. Guilty people have probably seen worse, and have more to fear. Mistrunner, yeah something like that. Edited January 7, 2016 by Delightful 1
Kaymyth she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 He was adamant that he would only come if he could cloak himself in the nightmares of innocents. The nightmares of innocents just happen to look exactly like white cloth to our weak mortal eyes. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 so not actually all that terrible nightmares then. Think about it. Guilty people have probably seen worse, and have more to fear. Mistrunner, yeah something like that. This is true. An innocent child will fear what they don't understand—darkness, the ocean, spiders, the strange man who walks past the house each morning. Teach them that there's nothing lurking in the darkness, the ocean can't hurt them if they stay close to shore, spiders are helpful, and the strange man is only there to drop off the mail, and their fears will vanish. But someone who has done something they regret, that there's no way of atoning for….that nightmare would haunt anyone.
ThirdGen Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 How about a sentence by sentence game, one line is super happy and rainbows and sunshine and the next person has to make it creepy and then the next person has to make rainbows etc etc? Sounds great! Sort of a "The frogurt is also cursed" thing. 1
Voidus Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 so not actually all that terrible nightmares then. Think about it. Guilty people have probably seen worse, and have more to fear. Mistrunner, yeah something like that. No mostly things like being embarrassed in front of friends. I'm not sure how you wear that exactly but hey, the abyss has always been a weird one. The nightmares of innocents just happen to look exactly like white cloth to our weak mortal eyes. Ah well as a scientific and hemalurgically created demi-god I wouldn't know That all works out for the best then.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 The frogurt is also cursed?? But it comes with your choice of toppings! 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 But it comes with your choice of toppings! One category will leave you perfectly fine. The other will turn you into a were-lobster. Which is which? Nobody knows…. 1
