Concerning Cats:

I have 2 cats myself. They're great. And yes, they do have a 'slight' destructive streak. I once left my homework out on the table. I woke up the next morning, moved to pack it in my bag, and found the cat lying on top of it, with half the textbook lying in small, tattered pieces around the table and floor nearby. The conversation with my teacher went something like this.

"The cat ate my homework, miss."

"Ha, Ha. Where is it?"

"No, really miss. Look!"

*pulls out tattered wreck of textbook with very distinctive chew and claw marks on it. On the small bit not destroyed, you can just make out fragments of my handwriting.*

Concerning Twi's Parents:

I can completely sympathize. It's like parents have a compulsive superiority complex. They can't handle the fact that their kids are just as capable as they are, more so in some respects, so they deliberately seem to find things that they can get the one-up on.

Just 2 days ago, my mother wanted me to assemble a bookshelf for her. While I was doing this (extremely begrudgingly), she was wandering around the room, doing various other odds and ends. Periodically, she would peer over at me and tell me I was doing something or oother wrong, and that the bookshelf would fall to pieces. She eventually settled down to 'help' me, which basically amounted to annoying, pestering, and making me get really pissed off with her. She kept on trying to tell me what was and wasn't perpendicular. (That shelf is slanted the wrong way. It needs to be perpendicular, like this! *slants it away from the perpendicular to a really weird angle of the demonic dimensions*) I eventually left in a huff, my mother shouting threats after me. My father went to have a look at this half-assembled bookshelf. He eventually ended up making it, starting off by taking off all the shelves because they were slanting the wrong way - except for the first 2 which I'd done with out dear mother's "help".

... Wow. I think I really needed to get that out of my system. /rant

"Mr. Protagonist, we found this video message that your late archnemesis left for you to watch in the event of his death."

"No! I won't watch it! I hate him!"

"But Mr. Protagonist, this message might hold vital information that could help you in some way!"

"How do you figure? I hated him, he hated me. Every second he had on screen was either an attempt at killing me or gloating about being about to kill me."

"But Mr. Protagonist..."

"Ugh, fine, I'll watch his stupid video."

"Huzzah! It is almost certainly pertinent information about some new threat to the city, or a revelation about why he did the terrible things he did that will utterly change the way we view his character!"

The message is actually a picture still of the villain flipping the bird at the camera.

"What did I tell you?"

Merry Christmas!

I think the forum family is coming together now. Mashadar, Honor and I are triplets, Kobold is big brother, I think Twi was designated big sister, Kaymyth is mom...

I know this is really late, but who would I be?

Let me guess, the super hyper three year old?

Or you just tell me...

If anyone tries to correct me when I am making things that they requested me to do I just say 'well here it is. Please knock yourself out so I can come and do it properly.'

I then walk away and wait for them to get frustrated at whatever it is then walk in, tell them to go away and build it.

If they manage to do it without my help I sarcastically clap when they come in to proclaim victory and ask them why they wanted me to do it.

Unfortunately, my mother is not of the opinion that such things should be voluntary.

Yes, I have just been watching QI. Can you tell?

It snowed. Here. In central Texas. It snowed and it's cold and I have to work outside.

Do not want.

It's pretty cold here, too. Cold enough that when I got to work before the boss, I went back to my car to wait instead of standing out in the cold like I usually can.

Playing the new Guitar Hero and there's a gamemode where you play and it ranks you against other players. I was second, and King Kobold was first O.o Way too similar.
