Taking them back to their parents, alive, and with some pepper spray that I taught them how to use just in case?

Ok, so if I got this right. You are going to return the boneless mass of flesh?

Um, yes. Go on believing that and pay no attention to the children, bones and flesh intact and in no way harmed, who are walking out of your lair under their own power.

How to quickly piss me off:

Make jokes about school shootings

Blaming school shootings on things you don't like

If the school in question is Columbine, then congrats, you've graduated to full on berserk button. The reason why Columbine happened was because Eric Harris wanted to be remembered for an event that would eclipse the Oklahoma bombings earlier. Not music, not video games, and not primarily bullying. Had he not been so bad at chemistry, my school would be a pile of rubble, and at least ten people I've come to personally know and respect would be dead.

Yes.

I want to learn more about people who have different backgrounds/beliefs, but the internet is so scary that I'm afraid to ask anywhere but the Shard.

I hate that people are being lumped together and hated on due to things they have no control over. It doesn't matter if you're black, white, one-sixteenth Gallifreyan, bisexual, asexual, Captain Jack Harkness or whatever. You have a right to an opinion. Just make sure it's an informed one and I'll respect it. We're all humans on a pale blue dot hurtling through space.

I just wish people were nicer. You know?

I also wish I was one-sixteenth Gallifreyan, but that's a little harder to achieve.

...Also, yes. I agree with the sentiment.

But if you choose to just be yourself, know that there's a very good chance Captain Jack Harkness will want to date you.

True dat. I remember seeing a post (from Tumblr maybe?) that said something along the lines of, "Here's a positive thought: no matter what you think of yourself, keep in mind that Captain Jack Harkness thinks you're hot."

I saw a similar one (mildly NSFW) with Deadpool. I'll have to dig it up later...

Deadpool? Mildly NSFW?! *faints*

I know, right?

Deadpool doesn't know how to be mildly anything.

No joke!

I mean, he got into a tickle fight with the embodiment of the abstract concept Eternity!

Twi: the sad thing is that lots of girls actually need to be told what the girl says in the original meme.

Well really it depends on the shirt.

Who is Captain Jack Harkness?

Who is Captain Jack Harkness?

A omnisexual immortal character from Doctor Who and Torchwood.

Omnisexual meaning he's attracted to everybody?

In-universe? He's offically... omnisexual, I think. He comes from the far future, by which point society has gotten to the point that he finds people being given labels quaint and amusing. So omnisexual is kind of "the closest thing we can use to describe him".

Jack is awesome. For so many reasons.

He was the first mainstream sci-fi character I ever saw who talked about being homosexual in a way that didn't feel seedy or exploitative. I have strong feelings about Jack Harkness.

Which is why it was so ridiculous when Moffatt (apparently) called him bisexual. If you want to put him in one of our modern boxes, the closest thing you'd probably get is pansexual, but omnisexual describes him more accurately.

I know, right? He's not depraved, he's not there to Make A Statement, he's just attracted to beings he finds attractive. I love him so much.

I don't mind coming into work to cover you.

I'd just like more than 6 hours notice, since, you know. There goes my plans.

When I take an ice cream bar out of the freezer and unwrap it only for it to fall off the stick because the freezer didn't do a very good job keeping it frozen.

When I remember reading a plot twist in the Dresden Files but I'm not sure if I actually read it from an official source or just dreamed about doing so. o.0

Edited to add: when I go to the IMDB and immediately click the search box, but the page loads an ad at the top and moves the search bar down so that where I clicked is now where the ad is, and then opens a new tab with the ad when THAT'S NOT WHAT I CLICKED.

You know what really grinds my gears? When people don't know that Congratulations is not spelled with a d and they write Congrads! On people's posts >.> maybe sometimes it's intentional and they just like the way that sounds better than congrats, but for some reason it drives me crazy!
