Voidus Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Name: Unending Primary Power: If I look at someone in the eye (even for a split second) directly (looking through glasses or contacts counts, but not through tinted lenses or masks or mirrors), I gain all of their memories, mental skills (non-Epic, I can't take Metronome's powers), and knowledge instantly. So I can look at a person with photographic memory and get that skill. I can look at a person with amazing mental math powers and gain that skill. I have all your memories, even the ones you've forgotten. I can't gain their personalities, and they still retain their skills. Looking myself in the eye has no effect. I experience all of their memories upon looking them in the eye, so time pauses at the instant I see someone's eyes until I have finished experiencing their memories. I can't stop time at will, but I can look someone in the eye and think up a solution to my own problems while their lifespan flies by. Once I look someone in the eye, I CANNOT gain any new knowledge from them by looking at them again. This power works on Epics and Vanillas. Secondary Power: I cannot feel pain unless in a memory, though I can feel emotions. Every time I absorb someone's memories and mental skills, I also gain one extra life. Having looked thousands of people in the eye, I have thousands of lives. After being killed, my corpse disintegrates and I resurrect instantly on the spot I was killed at. I cannot be killed by the same thing twice. So if I die by falling, I just pick myself up the next time I fall off a building. Once I run out of lives, I die permanently. I have a personal innate knowledge of how many lives I have left. Weaknesses: •Age. I resurrect every time at the age I became an epic. I will not resurrect from death by old age, though all epics have this limitation (WoB). This is a natural consequence of my powers. •Trauma. I cannot feel pain, but if I see a memory that is truly disgusting/mind-boggling/terrifying, I lose all memories and skills from that person and cannot try again to reabsorb it. I also cannot gain a life from them. So if someone was tortured painfully for a year straight, they are immune to me. This is a natural consequence of my powers. •Actual weakness: All my immunities are nullified on a person I care for. I can't absorb knowledge from them (they don't have to reciprocate my love), can't gain a life from them, and can't resurrect when killed by them. Evilness: My ridiculously large amount of knowledge lets me launch devastating psychological attacks, outwit most opponents, and discover Epic weaknesses. I rule a city of intellectuals, who invent and dominate. First time poster who references Metronome? You my friend deserve all of the upvotes. 6
Speedy Reckoning Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 First time poster who references Metronome? You my friend deserve all of the upvotes. Thank you! He is truly the greatest epic in disguise. 2
I_am_NOT_fire Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) 1. What would your power/secondary power be? Shapeshifting, and super healing. (I'm a high epic) 2. What is your weakness? Low frequency vibrations, they stop me from healing. 3. What is your cheesy name? The Whisper 4. In what way does your inevitable evil manifest itself? I am easily provoked when bored, and I get really intolerably annoying. Also my intellect sharpens, it usually just ends up with me insulting someone, then doing a surprise attack on a city or something. Edited October 24, 2015 by lighweaver64 1
ChickenPlague he/him Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) I wouldn't be this epic but it is a cool one i came up with. Name: Coldpin Powers: Cold infusion- Coldpin can infuse anything with cold if it's within 10m of himself, is smaller than 1m3, isn't alive and is in a solid state. While infusing he can lower the temparature of the thing being infused to any temperature between 0°C and -273,15°C (absolute zero) and choose how far from the surface the thing affects outside temperature (0cm-10cm). Infused things don't change their temperature because of outside conditions and only lose their charge when Coldpin wishes so. Upon losing their charge things heat rapidly to the the temperature they had before infusion. Cold sense- Colpin can precisely tell anything's temperature by looking at it. He also knows anything's freezing temperature. Iceskin- His skin is light blue and he can create a thin(1mm), incredibly durable layer of ice on his body. He also has a very thin layer of water under his skin that doesn't freeze unless it is hit with force in which case it freezes instantly. Frostpulse- He shoots pulses from his hands that freeze water, any substance containing water or any substance with a freezing temperature above that of water. The blasts are invisible but when shooting them his skin flashes with blue light and the blasts freeze the water in the air which makes the blasts visible in humid places. Ice step- When he touches the ground be creates 1m radius circles of ice wherever he touches. When touching water he also creates 1m radius circles of ice that go 20cm underwater. He doesn't slip on ice if he doesn't want to slip Aura of cold- Air around him is colder announcing his majestjs Coldpin's presence to the foolish mortal who wandered too close. Extras- Immortal, immune to cold , 10 times normal speed, 3 times normal strength, doesn't need to breathe, eat, drink or sleep. Weaknesses: Glutenfree cookies with raisins and white chocolate- He cannot freeze with frostpulse or infused things anyone who has these in his system and loses all his powers when he eats one. This is a source of great shame to him because he doesn't consider it a weakness worthy of a prime epic like himself. Costume: He wears a suit of armor made from his ice layer, and a blue cloth cloak and hood. Mark of evil: He lives in digferent cities mobing frequently. When in a city he freezes objects such as lampposts, and tools to watch people freeze their hands. He also coats dangerous places, such as contruction sites, in ice to watch people fall off high places. During the night he often gows on killing sprees if he sees a fight. He likes going out in the ocean and destroying ships. Edited November 8, 2015 by Dayblood 1
Speedy Reckoning Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) Primary Powers: The ability to spontaneously generate fires of any intensity, strength, shape, and color from her body or from existing flames. They have a maximum temperature of 10000 degrees Kelvin, and a minimum temperature of 400 degrees Kelvin. She also has telekinesis to a limited degree - enough to pull people towards her. She uses this to fly by levitating herself, though this requires intense focus and is generally fairly unsteady. She prefers to incinerate things instead, so very few people know of this power. Secondary Power: Anything that will harm her is incinerated upon causing even the slightest bit of damage in a heat field. Disease is purged and bullets vaporize. Poisonous gases dissociate in such intense heat. She can expand this field to a couple centimeters off of her body, though normally it is skin-level to avoid incinerating things she touches. This heat field does not spread outwards naturally - the area just outside her field is normal temperature. It warps the air around her to ridiculously high temperatures, so she incinerates objects that are near her when she expands the field. Tertiary Power: She can choose to use infrared vision. She can gift all of her powers. Weakness: In her teenage years, she fell in love with who she thought would be her true love. However, he was a psychopath who also drank heavily, and after nearly being killed by him, she has a defining fear of people she loves. She can only be hurt by someone she loves, though her weakness doesn't nullify her pyrokinetic or telekinetic powers. Cheesy name: Inferno Brand of Evil: She rules a city of poor and hard-working people that have suffered from other Epics. Her worshippers treat her as the manifestation of the sun itself, and she kills any Epic or challenger she can find to assert her dominance. Her gifted followers sustains a massive fire in the center of the city, which is prone to massive flares in accordance with her mood. Obliteration has an obsession with her because her pyrokinesis is practically an infinite power source for him, though he teleports from her lethal heat unless she voluntarily grants him some fire. Being immune to each other's powers, they have a strange agreement in which they he spares her city and she provides him a residence (and spare glasses). Occasionally she leaves the city to go on massive swathes of destruction that scorch the earth into desert and other epics+Vanillas into dust. Edited November 8, 2015 by Speedy Reckoning 1
Aon tEhe Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I would probably go with a two power epic with this: 1. Super speed/reflexes 2. Something similar to burning Atium This would create an almost invincible epic. It would be amazing. My weakness would have to be: 3. Betrayal. I feel like this would be fitting, as I have always feared betrayal. Cheezy name: 4. Flashbang No costume.
Aon tEhe Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 oops. brand of evil. forgot that. probably would have to be something along the lines of this: Travels across Central America and takes over ancient structures for sport. Just as entertainment. When he's not goofing off, he's kidnapping children and forcing them through grueling expirements. And that is Flashbang.

Stormgate he/him Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) I may have overpowered this guy. I don't really care, I put a lot of thought into this. ( I can get really bored) Meteor-kinesics: I would have control of the weather, specifically making any kind of storm (except highstorms, I'm not going there) Anyway, this would allow me to fly, as I could control wind. Oh, and if I could get the power to create lightning from my hands, awesome. (Changing the lightning's color would be doubly cool.) Bottomless Pockets: I would be able to create wormholes between any two dark spaces, preferably enclosed. Thus, I would wear a cloak, and whip out weapons and other things from the robe (storing them in secret caches, of course) The cloak could also serve to allow me to simply pull up the hood, and teleport to somewhere else, though I would prefer simply disappearing down a dark alley. Forcefields: These aren't normal forcefields. I could get really technical with this, but basically, ten seconds after the forcefield is damaged, it gets stronger proportional to the damage done in the first second, then the second, and so on until ten seconds after the attack stops. However, the larger the field grows, the weaker it is, and if it gets shattered by too much force at once, then I have to start over. There are some formulas I could put together for this. I will abstain for now. For the outfit, I would wear a suit of metal armor all over, but thin and light enough for me to easily move around, since it's mainly ornamental. The robe would be blue with bright, almost neon green ( go onto Paint and set the green to 255, and Red and Blue to zero. That's the color.) I would likely have a bunch of lightning-powered weapons, like a quarterstaff or spear, sword, etc. If I couldn't get lightning shooting out of my hands to power this, I would just make tech that did the same thing. And now for the name. I thought of this Epic before I made my 17S account, and chose the name of my account to match my Epic's name. Yeah, my Epic's name is Stormgate. I also use it as my character's names me on RPGs, since Stormgate is usually never taken. Oh yeah, what would set me off... I honestly don't know. I don't often get angry, so I don't have enough experience with it to figure out how I get ticked off. As an older sibling, probably the continuation of an annoying activity after a request for it to cease. Edited November 19, 2015 by Stormgate 3
Guest Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 ...though I would prefer simply disappearing down a dark alley. ... If you would like to disappear down THE Dark Alley, we have some pretty cool things to show you...come on, come on.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 If you would like to disappear down THE Dark Alley, we have some pretty cool things to show you...come on, come on. Advertising on the Reckoners board? Tisk Tisk....... 1
Thermophile he/him Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) I would have the power to animate objects to work and fight at my whim (not a High Epic). My weakness would be of being caught in a lie. I would be called The Architect, but I'd just wear whatever was comfiest. I'd have my automotons working my will, and genarally messing with peoples lives without me neccecarily having to even know about it. Edited December 10, 2015 by Thermophile 1
Voidus Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Advertising on the Reckoners board? Tisk Tisk....... Have you seen how many of us there are in the RP? ... I mean, I don't know anyone in the Dark Alley. Not being associated with it myself.
Aonar he/him Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 (edited) If I were an Epic... Hmm. There's actually an Epic that would fit me not bad that I made a while ago for the Reckoners RPG, but never actually found a place for. Name: Fragarach Primary Power: Minor Compulsion. Fragarach can really only do two things with this power; render someone immobile, and compel them to answer questions, and do so truthfully. This power requires Fragarach to be touching his target, or make eye contact with them. Secondary Power: Minor Wind Manipulation. Pretty standard, here. Not strong enough for flight, but he's strong enough to push people around, break things, etc.. Passive Power: Soullink. Any wound Fragarach receives is redoubled upon his attacker. He will still be injured, but his attacker will always receive an injury of equal or greater severity in return. Vice: Apathy. Fragarach cares little for anything. Life, death, good, evil, it's all the same. While not the most violent of Epics, he is one of the most consistently unpredictable, sometimes cruel, sadistic, other times strangely kind; regardless, the reason for his actions is always the same. He was bored. Weakness: Hrm. There are a lot that could fit here. Let's go with this one, though. 1. Failure. Every time he fails to achieve something he sets out to do, his powers briefly flicker. If he ever fails something in such a way that he can never complete it, his powers will fail utterly for a full 24 hours. In terms of appearance, he would wear civilian clothing, but would carry a claymore around 24/7, for reasons. Edited November 27, 2015 by Ookla the Incorrigible 1
Speedy Reckoning Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) Abyssal: Primary Power: Telekinesis Abyssal can use telekinesis with the minute precision needed to crush a blood vessel or with the strength to levitate a city off the bedrock. She can only grasp and manipulate objects which she can visualize the location of (so she can't levitate a stone inside a locked safe, but she can levitate a stone inside a glass case. She can levitate herself and fly at tremendous speeds. Secondary Power: Prime Invincibility (nearly) Anything that harms her or causes physical irritation will disappear instantly upon contact. Bullets, poisons, gases, swords, fires, explosions - they all vanish into nothingness upon touching her. She cannot disintegrate things at will, and objects/energy will only disappear if they are in the act of harm. (So she can hold a sword.) She can die in a vacuum of suffocation. Tertiary Power: Concealment Abyssal can conceal herself completely - soundless, invisible, smelless, and undetectable by any means (x-ray, thermal scan, etc.) However, she still has a physical presence, so dust or touching her can expose her. Appearance: Abyssal only wears modest shirts and jeans, as she feels that the opinions of others are far below her. Vice: She kills anyone who challenges her, and enjoys extensively torturing perpetrators of even small crimes. She is especially psychopathic and malicious towards sexual assaulters. Weakness: Falling romantically in love with someone. She is not immune to them, though can still use her powers. Edited December 9, 2015 by Speedy Reckoning 1
Citadel16 he/him Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) Antimatter primary power: Antimatter force redirection creates small antimatter explosions that he is able to channel into a high powered energy attack. He can also control how powerful the explosion is. secondary power: Reincarnation. When he dies he comes back five hours later in full fledged Rending mode. tertiary power: super indexed IQ "If Einsteins IQ was in the stratosphere, Antimatters was somewhere on the far edge of the moon." appearance: tattered trenchcoat, and High strength Graphene body armor from head to foot. Vice: he has no Idea who he is and has no memories past his first rending. weakness: Lack of sunlight radiation (or direct nuclear radiation in general) for a period of five hours Edited December 11, 2015 by warriormark16 1
Thermophile he/him Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 It's spelled 'graphene'. Also, would lack of radiation immediately reduce his power, and only after 5 hours turn it off, or does it need 5 hours to come into effect? 1
Citadel16 he/him Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Dang it spellcheck! The longer he's without the weaker he becomes. 1
startreklord06 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 (1. My power would be to be able to make the air turn solid and back to normal at will. I would also be able to make pockets of air solid and throw them at people, as well as make it opaque. I would always have a bubble of solid air around me which would protect me from bullets, explosions, etc. (2. My powers wouldn't work in space or in a vacuum. (3. 2
Clockwork he/him Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Primary Power: Transformation/Bestial Creation Only able to turn into an enormously large 18-legged beast that has a nearly impenetrable shell. It has large claws on the front four legs, and it's carapace is spiked all the way down, and has a large emerald in it's chest. If killed, he comes back out of the head, and can transform back into it in 15 min., during which he is vulnerable (though it's not his weakness). Secondary Power #1: Earthshattering Can cause the earth to split open, creating a canyon or chasm barely large enough for his beast to fit through. It takes him a good 15 min. to fully open one. They do not close back up again. Secondary Power #2: Property Enhancing He can enhance a object's properties, making it harder, sharper, stronger, or such. He can also do this to himself or someone else to make them stronger, faster, or such. Weakness: Extreme storms cause it so he can't transform or use his other powers, but property enhancements and canyons/chasms stay. Outfit: A very large suit of armor that is insanely hard, and an extremely large sword that's very light and can cut through nearly anything like it's air. Name: Chasmfiend. 1
Clockwork he/him Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The format is different once posted than when making it... Oh well. Oops... I forgot why people hate me. They hate me because I tend to turn their cities in to chasm networks and eat a bunch of them. Or slice them to pieces. Whichever. 1
The Invested Beard Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 1. What would your power/secondary power be? Primary power: The ability to sleep through anything. Secondary: Fall asleep instantaneously at any time/place. 2. What is your weakness? Roosters 3. What is your cheesy name? Somnambulist 4. In what way does your inevitable evil manifest itself (why do ordinary people really hate you?) No one could wake me up but me. And I wear PJ's. We're talking Ebeneezer Scrooge Victorian era style. (As an explanation I have 3 young children. I think about sleep a lot.) 1
bluepotion he/him Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Primary Powers: Mid Level Flame Body. (His physical form is still under the flames, and some amount of flames are always present.) Passive Power: Extreme Heat Resistance / Minor Energy Absorption. (His passive power is separate from his flame body, without it he would burn.) Other powers include Mid-Low Level Flame Manipulation, Gifting, and Gifting Dependent Resurrection. Flame Manipulation: 10 foot max range, with anything more 8 feet and 9 inches requiring higher concentration. Limited to basic shapes and patterns or copies of items within range. Because of his limited range, he suppresses any knowledge of his range being more then 7 feet, in order to give himself an upper hand against less knowledgeable foes. Resurrection: Power only works if there is a living person who has at least one of the other powers gifted to them. On death the closest person with one of the gifted powers will burst into flames losing his/her gifted power and allowing for the resurrection to happen from there burnt corpse. The more power the person had given to them the faster the process. If the flames are put out before the process is finished or if there is no one with gifted power then there is no resurrection. If the flame is weakened but not completely put out the process will just take longer. Gifting: All powers can be gifted except for the resurrection power. Gifting primary power causes no significant change in power level. However gifting other powers significantly weakens his own powers. Gifting his flame manipulation decreases his own range by just short of 1 foot per person. Gifting his passive power eliminates most if not all of his energy absorption, but would need to gift the power to a large mass of people to ever fear any form of natural heat. Weakness: Resurrection power does not work well in the rain or wet places, he tends to avoid getting wet do to the nature of his abilities. However his real weakness is heights. His powers will weaken if he is ever forced into the air and if he is ever brought roughly 57 feet off of the ground or he is in a large enough free fall his powers will be blocked. (inside of buildings don't count unless he is in a free fall, like an elevator. Although he doesn't trust any building with more then three floors after an experience were he was thrown out of a tenth floor window which is when he figured out his weakness. He only survived thanks to the help of another Epic and was quick to turn his assailant into a pile of ash soon after the incident.) Name: EmberStrike He never really cared too much about where he ended up. So he ended up as a High Epic that works under another Epic of greater caliber. He feels no connection to anyone with powers weaker then his own and will treat lower Epics as if they were nothing but normal people. Due to his very short temper there are more then a few store fronts or city streets that are scarred by some of his worst outburst. The one thing he hates more then a boring life is meeting another Epic who tries to control his flames. This has caused most of the unrepairable damage in the area and has left a couple of High Epics missing. His favorite way to kill normal people is to only gift them his primary power and watch them burn as their bodies produce a flame that they are unable to control. Appearance: He has two options when it comes to what to wear either a very uninspired outfit that would match any normal person if it wasn't for all the burn marks on the clothing. Or an incredibly bland fire resistant jumpsuit (It isn't easy always being on fire). For when he is wearing his normal clothes he will control his flames to take the form of his shadow, in order to limit any damage that might be done to the clothes. His other go to form for his flames goes with the jumpsuit and takes the form of a flowing cape that depending on his mood is either matched with a full or broken halo over his head.
WayneSpren he/him Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I would be the WayneSpren, with the powers of amazing aim with throwing hats, and also the talent to say crude things at opportune times. My weakness would be guns and people named Ranette.
Patrick Star Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Name: "The Fine Brothers" My epic power would be getting a ton of Youtube subscribers. My weakness would be trying to trademark a common word, which would cause me to lose all my Youtube subscribers. 3
