It's interesting, being a savant doesn't only affect the allomantic ability of that metal, but also the feruchemical ability associated with it when compounding. When I write it out, it seems obvious, but still. Interesting.

If that's what he was doing, he'd have lied about a lot more. The only thing we know he lied about was being God, and even that wasn't very far from the truth. He wouldn't have claimed to have something as disprovable as perfect memory if he didn't actually have it.

Why would he lie about perfect memory? It didn't seem he was lying about being a perfect lie detector, since with emotional allomancy and various mental compoundings, he could get the truth from just about anybody. I think he'd be much more likely to lie about that than perfect memory, which is why I think he does have it.

Without memorizing, the memory is almost useless, you wouldn't remember it well enough to use it.

First off: Sazed said that to put something in a coppermind, you had to memorize it to the extent you would remember it for five or ten minutes, and then put it in the coppermind so it would have enough strength to be useful. I believe this is what copper compounding affects. Second: Copper compounding is something TLR could, and likely did, do. If it involved retrieving data from the cognitive aspects of nearby objects, we would see him be much more aware of some of the stuff going on. And perfect memory is something we're pretty sure he has, but is unexplained sofar. Third: If copper compounding was,say, useful in an investigation, we would likely have heard about it by now, even if no known copper compounders existed at the time. Lastly: I disagree with it not being interesting enough. Perfect memory has a variety of uses, beypnd even memorizing every written work known to man.

What I'm saying is that it isn't a big deal to make them. Perhaps Ruin wanted to give as many abilities as possible to Marsh, just to be safe.

Besides, feruchemical atium does not require an atium spike. I don't remember the metal for spiritual feruchemy, but you'd use that.

To be honest, I can't think of a good answer for that. Has anybody asked Brandon about this yet?

No, I'm talking about when Ruin was in control. Marsh was special for a reason we still don't know (maybe his involvement in TLR's death?). As a result, Ruin gave him a lot more spikes.

All Inquisitors have double copper, steel, and iron allomancy (which is why they are so powerful). From Marsh's perspective, we learn he has a lot more spikes than most Inquisitors, including duralumin. He is quite likely very close to being fullborn (excluding allomantic aluminum, and likely a couple others). I just hope we get to see him in action.

That doesn't make a lot of sense, considering that the information that would be involved in such a vision was never stored.

I believe that Brandon said that bronze could detect Feruchemy if one was good enough, but it may only be because of the partial Preservation nature of Feruchemy.

I doubt Hoid would have taken an active role in what happened no matter what Vin said. It's not that he doesn't care about the people of Scadrial, just that he has much more important things to do (we think). That doesn't mean that Ruin wasn't responsible for Vin's apprehension, though. No reason not to be safe.

How about this one: If a Feruchemist has his or her abilities stolen with Hemallurgy, can the recipient access the metalminds of the dead Feruchemist?
