Voidus Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I have yet to figure out just who in Damnation Nighthound is and why everyone hates him. He's in the Portland thread and cause he's a creeptastic slontze.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 How about Have Kobold host the Pony Vault there rather than wherever it is now in the past 12 threads. And added, along with a brief explanation of the pony Epic phenomenon. I decided to make Deathskull disabled below the waist. It occurred to me at work that we haven't seen any disabled Epics yet, and I can't see a reason Calamity wouldn't pick them if their powers compensated for it. Nice. That's definitely a great and distinctive character quirk. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 And added, along with a brief explanation of the pony Epic phenomenon. Nice. That's definitely a great and distinctive character quirk. Which reminds me that a whole lot of new Epics still need ponies.
Voidus Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Which reminds me that a whole lot of new Epics still need ponies. I'm probably several dozen behind.
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 And with Sirce's last post the game day in Astoria is now offically wrapped up. Should I just start the next one with a Deathgale post, other wishes or do you guys want it to wait on the other locations? 1
Voidus Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I was thinking about starting Salems next day so it could work. It's only really the Dalles and Portland that need to sync up because of Backtrack and MV.
mail-mi he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Kobold, it seems like you don't have Mommy's code in the vault.
Comatose he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yeah, Corvallis can't finish up the current day until Mailliw gets back (and we are waiting until this weekend to see about moving forward without a Converter post) so go ahead. We should be able to catch up when the next day starts, and as long as we are roughly the same I think we will be fine. I've been sending so many emails for work I almost signed this post with my name and job title... 1
Kobold King he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Kobold, it seems like you don't have Mommy's code in the vault. Does Mommy have a pony yet? I've been sending so many emails for work I almost signed this post with my name and job title... I almost pasted one of the topics I wrote for work onto the Random Stuff thread once. Not that it would have been particularly out of place, but still.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 I'm good with skipping to morning in Astoria. I've been sending so many emails for work I almost signed this post with my name and job title... Haha, yikes. When I worked at Outback, every year after Mother's Day and Valentine's Day, I would've answered the phone so many times that I'd have trouble not answering my cell with "Outback Steakhouse, [location], how may I help you?" 2

Alright, I'll get to that then. Let's see where I can cram it into my list of Oregon priorities. It happens to all of us from time to time.

Edgedancer he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 You made one a while back, back when Lightsworn was first joining, Also, has anyone heard from Newan? You still got the pony? Not in a long time.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Also, has anyone heard from Newan? No. Not in a long while. Should we PM him? I've been considering two things: 1. Closing The Dalles to new Epics, but leaving it open to vanilla characters 2. Adding which game thread the members of the ATTD List belong to (so instead of saying "Nighthound," the entry would say "Nighthound (Portland)"). Admittedly, this has the potential to clutter the list quite a bit, so I would probably only do it for the first entry.

There are already way too many Epics wandering into the city to explain by pure coincidence, and our storylines will be a mess if too many gamechanging characters wander in. I don't think that's particularly necessary; the list already looks clean and easy and read, and it's easy to look at the Epics of Oregon thread to find out where a character's from. 1

Or the Epic summary doc. *Shameless plug for people who still haven't added their characters yet* EDIT: Actually having rechecked that summary, most characters don't have their location listed. Oh well, the shameless plug remains! Edited June 4, 2015 by Voidus

Couldn't hurt. 1) I've been having the same thought and with Salem opening it's the perfect opportunity, really. 2)Nah, on the risk of soundind a bit like a jerk, we have a list with our Epics and to which location they belong, if they are really curious finding the info shouldn't be hard. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) 1. All right, then, I'll close it. Any objections to a veiled plea for people to consider adopting something other than an Epic as their player character? I certainly don't have any objections to people playing with Epics—Great Noodly One knows that'd make me quite the hypocrite if I did—but it seems to me like adopting an Epic and only an Epic in The Dalles is creating a missed opportunity. 2. I'll leave it as-is, then. Edited June 4, 2015 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles

Yeah Salem's pretty much designed to accept multitudes of Epics, the Dalles just has too centralized a plot, even Portland would probably handle new characters better. 1. TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Point 4 is new, isn't it Twi? Point 4 where? I updated a couple of rules threads….
mail-mi he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 You still got the pony? Not in a long time. No, I don't have it. I just know it was made. I'm a Yes to the Dalles being closed to Epics, by the way.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Oh, Point 4 in the rules thread? Yes, that's new. Should I change the wording?
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Point 4 where? I updated a couple of rules threads…. I meant in Rules and Etiquette. Of course the whole location notes are new but I didn't see point four last time I chacked. By the way, good work. Edit: You are a ninja and the wording is fine. Edited June 4, 2015 by Edgedancer
