Shattered he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 From now on he shall be known under the name of Methan. I'm thinking Aaron. 1
Blackhoof Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Oh dear. Yeah he's kind of both hilarious and terrifying, he's actually pretty powerful but also ridiculous. Like if Steelheart threw pancakes instead of energy bolts at people and they exploded in bursts of scalding maple syrup
Blackhoof Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Wonder what creepy Epic has made his/her home here? http://thatoregonlife.com/2014/10/temple-oculus-anubis-creepiest-place-oregon-This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules/

Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 A Epic that can control jackals. Calls himself... The Jackal! Clever Epic.
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 New Deathgale post up. Voidus, Winter, I left the scene open for you to describe what your characters are currently doing in the room or if they even already arrived ect. Whatever you want
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I could probably get a Brightdeath post up before I leave. Oh right, you're going to leave. Any definite wished who should take care of your characters?

Voidus, Winter, I left the scene open for you to describe what your characters are currently doing in the room or if they even already arrived ect. Edgedancer he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Dunno. Perhaps there could be auditions in the WHOOC thread? I pick the person who both wants to play my characters and who fits my idea of thhem the best? Do we still have enough time to set something like that up. (Plus who would be interested?) Otherwise some general instructions for their NPCism might be helpful. As soon as I tear myseld away from Shadow of Mordor long enough I'll try to get a post up I've been playing a good amount of that game myself lately. Saddly I always end up killing the Uruks before they can turn into a proper Nemesis.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Speaking of Deathwish, I'm afraid I have some alarming news. It appears he's real. And his name is Tom. Fortunately that man is not even close to Deathwish. Deathwish would have been smirking and winking at an underage girl in the audience. Okay, Ethan's debut post is up. I like him! Do you think he works at all with Vondra's daughter Sequoia? I just remembered that originally I'd mentioned her on the Question thread as being in charge of city resources, but that never went anywhere. Dunno. Perhaps there could be auditions in the WHOOC thread? I pick the person who both wants to play my characters and who fits my idea of thhem the best? I'd offer to do it, but I'm both having trouble getting my posts out on time as it is and I'm not very confident in my ability to channel your characters.

Congratulation Tom, you are not a Deathwish, just a regular creeper. Wait, Vondra having a daughter is canon? I have a pretty large cast of characters myself, so if i end up with them I'd mostly end up NPCing them.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Wait, Vondra having a daughter is canon? I originally described him as having three adult children. I can't remember all their names off the top of my head, but his eldest son was killed by Koschei the Deathless, Sequoia works in resource management but is kept largely out of the public eye, and his youngest son is an officer in the City Guard. 1

I remember the death one, the other two kind of slipped my mind. Great, now I'm curious about them.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I remember the death one, the other two kind of slipped my mind. Great, now I'm curious about them. The Dalles has such an enormous character overload, I'd hesitate to introduce them in any major role.

Just accelerate time a few times and they'll get better, I think when they're higher leveled they give better runes but I have no evidence other than a few hours experience to confirm that.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 The Dalles has such an enormous character overload, I'd hesitate to introduce them in any major role. Epic characters, maybe. I think a few more vanilla perspectives would be welcome. /opinion

The rune part is true, otherwise I tried but I just keep slaughtering them. Epic characters, maybe. I think a few more vanilla perspectives would be welcome. /opinion Especially with their family heritage.
Voidus Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Epic characters, maybe. I think a few more vanilla perspectives would be welcome. /opinion I might do one, I haven't had a Vanilla since back when PP was still one. Perhaps one of Scribblers neighbors?
Kobold King he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Epic characters, maybe. I think a few more vanilla perspectives would be welcome. /opinion I'll consider a way to bring them into a scene or two, then. This is a vanilla town, after all.
Voidus Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 The rune part is true, otherwise I tried but I just keep slaughtering them. Especially with their family heritage. Have you gotten to the second map yet? I only just got to it so I'm not sure but if time keeps going at the old map it might make them a bit tougher.
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I might do one, I haven't had a Vanilla since back when PP was still one. Perhaps one of Scribblers neighbors? Her parents maybe? I'll consider a way to bring them into a scene or two, then. This is a vanilla town, after all. How about a family meeting after a hard day of work? Have you gotten to the second map yet? I only just got to it so I'm not sure but if time keeps going at the old map it might make them a bit tougher. I actually beat the entire game just recently and in a way getting to the second map makes it worse, because once you start mind controling the Uruks the don't create a open spot for a new one.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 Her parents maybe? How about a family meeting after a hard day of work? I was about to suggest the same thing. That would be really interesting. What would they discuss? Do they all talk at once, or does Vondra go around the room in a circle asking for reports? Are they emotional, or reserved?
Kobold King he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 How about a family meeting after a hard day of work? I'm gonna post for Vondra clearing Vapor Snake for evaluation later, and then maybe once he's talked with Shiny Sparkle I can do this.
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I'm gonna post for Vondra clearing Vapor Snake for evaluation later, and then maybe once he's talked with Shiny Sparkle I can do this. Haha! The question in used for what it is supposed to be used, manipulating other people into doing something awesome planning. 1
