Pikachu appears suddenly in the hall, "sorry, I was engulfed in a most informative read of Calamity." then, realizing no one is listening, says. "I guess Jumped into a awkward conversation, didn't I?"

"THat's fine." Carola munches a plate of bookies (and the plate), "How's Calamity? Isn't it great?"

Sunbird crowds closer to Carola and Pikachu... Invasively close. "I loved Calamity didn't you love it too please tell me you loved it!" she chatters.

Nashan walks up too, munching on a bookie.

"Hey, yeah, Calamity was great! It opened up a ton of new ideas for the Reckonerverse!" He stops for a second.

"Waaiiitt, what kind of bookies are these?" he asks Carola

They are Prof, Tia... and a few others you won't know the flavor of unless you'very read Calamity

Sunbird perks up. "Prof bookies? I'll have one of those!" She takes one from the plate and begins munching on it. "Maybe if I eat enough of these I'll turn into a badchull like Prof..." she mutters.

Man, now I feel terrible for not knowing very many chemistry jokes.

WOAH I never thought of that, now i'll try. Carola proceeds to munch as many Prof bookies as she can

 

"Carola, did you know that you are C6H12O6?" Inquires Alomantist, a Wayne like smile on his face.

Pausing in her munching, she gives Al a curious look

"That was the chemical composition of sugar. So, umm, basically saying your pretty sweet..." AL replies, before running and hiding in a corner.

Nashan looks up and sees the mass awkwardness emanating from the room. He grabs a book and sinks his face into it, attempting to vanish from the room.

Umm, Yes, i did. Is that a bad thing?" Carola glances around, then pulls more Prof bookies from her secret safe that no one else knows about and begins munching them.

Sunbird eyes Carola curiously. "You have a secret safe? How'd you manage to hide that? Seems like an awkward thing to carry around--both for weight and shape."

I-I don't share that secret... But, if you want, i can help you get your own secret safe full of bookies. I have a few safes hidden around wiht Emergency Root Beer too, so you know now how Root Beer sometimes appears in my hands

Sunbird grins widely. "I'd love to have an emergency stash of root beer!" she exclaims excitedly. Then her face falls slightly. "I just hope I can manage not to spill it everywhere. That always happens to me at parties," she says, sighing.

Here, I'll create the stashes, that way, whenever you need Root Beer, just think about it, and It'll be there.

"Wel... I could set it up, but it would take an hour or so... I already had a few Root Beer ones, in case anyone asked..." Carola sips her Root beer. SHe flips around her Calamity copy, revealing that it wasn't acatually Calamity, but a Sketch book with the Calamity covers put on the cover.
