Alomantisist he/him Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) "Hello friend!" Says Alomantist, releasing his sword from his grip. "Welcome to Keep Awkward! But I feel I have met you before, perhaps in another life?" Alomantist subsequently trips over a weasel. Edited February 2, 2016 by Alomantisist
Kit Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Kit smiles warmly,"Perhaps..." She paused, a feeling of recognition dawning on her as well.
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (How?) Carola smiles then shouts"Mistrunner, we've got another one!" She then hands a plate of bookies to Kit
Kit Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Kit recieves the plate and looks inquisitively at its contents,"What are these exac-" Kit is rudely cut off by a flying weasel, who devours the bookies in a single bite and scampers back into the shadows.
Sunbird she/her Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Sunbird watches the bookie-stealing weasel with amusement. "Perhaps if someone could instruct me in the creation of these bookies, I could make a new batch for us to enjoy. I'm sure Kit would enjoy them." Turning to Kit, she continues, "Bookies are book-shaped desserts that contain attributes of Brandon's characters. They are far less nefarious than the 'cookies' I'm sure you've been offered by the inhabitants of The Dark Alley."
Kit Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Kit listens attentively to Sunbird's explanation. Smiling, she replies," I see. Well I look forward to trying one!"
Mistrunner Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 "Welcome to the Knights Awkward!" Mistrunner says, stumbling over a chair whilst carrying a plate of bookies. "Have some bookies. I saw that nefarious weasel stole the rest of yours-" she glares in its general direction- "and thought you'd like the chance to try some. This batch has some Sarenes, a few Renarins, and... those look like Vins, I think." 1
Kit Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 "Thanks!" Kit grins appreciatively at Mistrunner while taking a Vin bookie.
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Carola trips over a weasel, falling masterfully, so she could slip a Renarin bookie from the tray. She stands up, then laughs meniacally(?) And strides back to where she's reading Bands. "Renarin is my favorite" she explains, to no one in particular.
Sunbird she/her Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Sunbird brightens at the sight of a fresh batch of bookies. "Excellent!" she exclaims, claiming a Vin bookie from the tray and beginning to munch on it, fending off a hungry weasel with her other hand as it tries to claw its way up the side of her trousers to steal the bookie. "Go away, you thieving critter!" she mutters at it.
Kit Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 "We really must do something about these things." Kit says, as she glares at a particular pest making its way slowly and not at all sneakily towards her and her bookie.
ChickenPlague he/him Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Chicken calls in his donkey. "I had some Lopen & Family cookies here... Ah, found them!" He munches happily and exclaims "Bridge Four!"
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Carola grabs some bridge four bookies and joins ChickenPlague, "Bridge Four!!!"
Sunbird she/her Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Sunbird raises her half-eaten bookie in an imitation of a toast and joins the others in shouting, "Bridge Four!"
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Carola proceeds to do a dance, resembling The Lopen 1
Sunbird she/her Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Sunbird wants to join in the dancing, but doesn't really know how, so she shuffles from one foot to the other in a small circle with her hands on her hips.
Mistrunner Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 "A dance party? You know what we have to play at dance parties!" Mistrunner puts on Cotton Eyed Joe and starts dancing enthusiastically, only occasionally tripping over things.
Kit Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) In response to recent events, Kit treats herself to relaxing solitary confinement in an inconspicuous corner where she has built a bean bag fort. She knows that here, she will be safe from whatever this dancing thing is. Edited February 3, 2016 by Kit
ChickenPlague he/him Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Chicken hands Mistrunner a Lopen mom bookie. "I don't think I should have this arm," he notes.
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Carola stuffs her mouth with Lopen and Kaladin bookies, then begins to dance her practiced Cotton eyed Joe dance.
Alomantisist he/him Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) "Back in my homeland we had a dance. A dance known as the Eaolathohm. I will demonstrate." Said Al. He stepped into an open space free of beanbags, then, spreading his arms dramatically proceeded to fall forward...onto his face... this is apparently, the dance he mentioned. Edited February 4, 2016 by Alomantisist
Kit Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Kit peeks out from behind her well fortified fort in time to see Al enact this strange ceremony. In the slightly confused silence that follows, she tentatively slips out from her hiding place and scampers over to where he still lies, not moving. Leaning down she asks, "Are you alive?"
CarolaDavar she/her Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Quick, give him a bookie for life!!!, Carola proceeds to stuff Bridge Four bookies into Al's mouth, "come on, Bridge four survived, your can too!" 1
Clockwork he/him Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I wonder what happens when you eat a chasmfiend bookie... *walks to kitchen to bake* *trips* Owwwww...
Sunbird she/her Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Sunbird's head whips around as she hears "Cotton Eye Joe" begin to play. "Fantastic!" she says, grinning. "This is one dance I actually know!" She then proceeds to completely exhaust herself performing the energetic line dance. At the end of the song, she manages to stumble over to Chasmfiend, clutching at his sleeve in an attempt to keep him from making it to the kitchen. "Don't bake chasmfiend bookies," she gasps. "I'd wager my big toe they'll poison you."
