By no longer available do you mean someone has purchased that information or that you have decided not to sell it anymore.

Someone has purchased them.

Edit:

And now, an Epic and a Rithmatist have been purchased. That brings the count down to 4, 3, 4, 2.

Edit 2:

Ooh, a large purchase just went down. 3, 1, 3, 1 are the numbers now. But I could always be persuaded to bring a few names back, if you catch my drift.

Agamemnon walked up to the strange toddler.  "Hello, little one!  May I ask why everyone is voting for Jain?"

-----

Really, why is everyone voting for Jain?  Just curious

I voted for him for the same reason as Winter Cloud, and for the reasons that Mailliw explained.  I was already feeling a little bit sympathetic for Wilson, and then he had two votes on him.  He was the perfect target.  All I did was push him into bandwagon territory.

PSA from your helpful free agent: Team Cosmere is a thing. I could even give you a list of half of their members, but I'm not going to do that. :)

And for those of you who don't know my status as a free agent, I have defected from Team Epic. My services and information are for hire. If you'd like to know why I've defected or knowledge, contact me. I already have PMs with all of you, since some troll decided to spam my inbox. :D

I would like to purchase your services back.  :D

What are you offering? I've got a lovely gig already set up. It would take a lot to get me to leave it.

Lovin' this game already.

Ferrin scratched his balding head.  He figured if he lost a few hairs from scratching, it wouldn't be that big of a loss.  He was probably going to die anyway.  A plan formed in his head, more allies.  Okay, so it wasn't really a plan, more of a thought, whatever, who cares.  As Ferrin walked across the grass he let his hand slide across the stony ruins.  Some people became sad when they thought about fallen kings or kingdoms; someone was better and that was why they left.  They became too weak to hold their own and someone else came to power.  That's the way things happened, and that's how it would always happen.  Malcom was creating a list of what teams everyone was on...  or claimed to be on.  He had a suspicion that someone had already told him where his allegiance lies.

He thought about what Malcom had asked about his sword earlier.  Of course it hadn't yelled at him.  That was insane.  It was whispering, though.  That probably wasn't natural either.  Ferrin still trusted Frank's work, but he had said this was a prototype of something he stopped working on.  He said to progress this further, he had to pay a price that he wasn't willing to pay.  It wasn't like he couldn't have afforded it with all the money Ferrin blew on the sword.  There was something more than that.

Ferrin was snapped out of his doldrums by a voice that had a commanding tone to it.  Jain was up on a crumbled wall, rallying his team.  Someone being that bold means they have no fear of being killed.  We should try anyway.

Edit: color (how did that happen anyway?)

It had taken a lot of time, but eventually, Naran had found an intact building. It was nothing special, and in nothing like good repair, but it would do.

He let his dogs run, playing and chasing each other around the outside. The sight brought a sad smile to his face. It would be nice to be able to forget, to be able to enjoy things, rather than worry. But of course, that could not be. For all it had been quiet so far, it wouldn't stay that way. People would be dying before long, and Naran didn't intend to be one of them.

Sighing, he walked inside, and made for the kitchen. Food was the top priority right now. Pantry? Two steps closer, and he turned away, disgusted. Whatever had been in there, it had long since gone bad. Cellar? A set of stairs in the corner seemed to lead downwards. Might as well give it a try.

It was incredibly dark in the basement. Fumbling around, his fingers caught a switch, and electric lights flared to life, blinding him. Naran blinked rapidly, trying to clear his vision. Sweet. We've got power. Hopefully that means we'll have preserved food, too.

A few cupboards and a freezer stood towards the back. Opening them up, he found shelves full of vacuum packed and preserved food, and bottles of water. There were more than a few packs of various meats and frozen vegetables, too. Heck yes.

Naran returned to the surface, new-found bounty in hand. Calling to his dogs, he threw them each a hunks of frozen meat. They settled at his feet, happily chewing away. He sat back against the wall, gnawing at a piece of beef jerky and absentmindedly rubbing Finn between the ears.

For a moment, they ate in silence, content. Then footsteps came thudding down the street. Aora's head snapped up, no longer interested in her food. A man came around the corner. Older, with a weather-beaten look, and the casual awareness of someone who'd spent long years fighting.

Finn's ears perked up, his tail thumping the ground furiously, and he gazed at Naran expectantly. "No, not yet, Finn. Don't get too close. We don't know if we can trust him." His ears went back down, the very picture of canine sadness. Naran looked to Aora, questioning. The wolfhound seemed almost to shrug. 'It's up to you,' she appeared to say. Well, he doesn't look to have any weapons on him...

"Ah, fine. Go ahead." Finn bolted forwards, nearly bowling the man over, trying to lick his face. Aora almost seemed to roll her eyes in disgust. The man halfheartedly fended off the dog, initial fear turning into a smile. Naran shook his head. He'd never been quite sure how, but Finn had always been able to do that to people.

He called out to the man, who had finally managed to settle Finn down. "Come have a seat. There's plenty of food here, if you'd like some."

Sorry for any liberties I took with your character, Clanky. I figure I might as well vote for Jain because why not.   :P

Ank had been walking for a long time following the dog prints down seemingly random streets. He probably didn't want to be found. I can understand that, the best way to survive this and avoid the madness would be to stay away from it all together.

He was about to give up and begin searching for a place to spend the night when he rounded a corner and saw Naran sitting in front of the most intact building he had seen all day. Then one of the dogs began charging right towards him.

Maybe this wasn't such a good idea! Thought Ank as the dog dove for his throat. Only it didn't bite, instead it started licking his face. Ank sighed in relief and began petting the dog.

Then he heard Naran inviting him for food. Food! This was the first time Ank had even thought about food since he got here. Once he started thinking about it he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed the gnawing pain in his stomach.

As he sat down with Naran and his dogs and began to eat he relaxed for the first time since getting to this god forsaken place. Maybe things weren't as bad as I thought. There's food and there's at least one other person who doesn't want to go on a killing spree.

For the first time Ank allowed himself hope that he might make it.

No problem Aonar, Ank was getting kind of mopey, he needed something to happen.

I'm starting to think we should probably kill Mailliw73 first, to stop him selling what he claims are other people's secrets.

Posted

I am so confused about what is happening. How did Mailliw get so much Information? Why exactly aren't we killing him to prevent the spread of said information?

And Why is Wilson abandoning her team?

Posted

I don't see any reason for us to kill Odium... This game is all about betrayal and such anyways. But any info that Maill has had to have been given to him by somebody, so ultimately anything he knows about you is your own fault for not keeping it a secret. If you vote for him, he might just give away your secrets to spite you. But anyway. it doesn't look like we are going to kill Lu, so I'll switch onto Jain since there are plenty of people that know he isn't on their team.

Posted

I am confused on those points as well Joe :(  It has barely been two cycles and Wilson defected from her team which doesn't really make sense, Mailliw says he knows virtually everyone's faction but with how little time has passed his list is probably half wrong and phatamerr is threatening anyone who dares vote for him or his alliance of 9 "Rithamists" (there can only be 7).  Obviously something is wrong here lol.

As for lynching someone why exactly are we doing that again?

It didn't take long for the true nature of the contestants to shine as the Games quickly progressed from polite smiles and hidden daggers to bared teeth and outright hostilities. Personal agendas outweighed cross-faction grudges and the battle lines blurred quickly in a matter of days. In the midst of the chaos and paranoia, Figgldygrak walked across a battle field, not one that was littered with corpses -- at least not yet-- but instead the air weighed heavy under the weight of political sabotage and secret back-workings of manipulation and subterfuge.

It wandered with no particular destination or intent; an aimless monster without purpose. Beneath the black pools of it's eyes, a dark and endless expanse stared back out, void of any reason or logic, the smoldering spark of life barely recognizant.

"I AM Figgldygrak." It repeated to itself, slowly becoming aware to it's sense of self.

Figgldygrak lumbered on, alone with it's thoughts until it came across an old wooden bridge.

"Halt!" A voice rang out from beneath the bridge, stopping Figgldygrak in it's tracks. "If you want to cross the bridge, you have to pay the Toll."

Jain, is there a reason for you not to be voting for Wilson since she apparently defected from your team? She has also has been selling information or so she claims which is apparently your reason for voting Mailliw. Or maybe she didn't actually defect and that is why you don't seem too perturbed?

EDIT: Sorry Wilson

One, I'm a she, and two, I didn't sell information to Maill. The only information I've given Maill was the list of Rithmatists, which Maill would've gotten anyway since there's a Librarian in your midst already. I actually got the full list of Rithmatists from the Librarian.

I didn't say you sold information to Maill. I just said that you were also in the business of selling information.

You implied it:

She has also has been selling information or so she claims which is apparently your reason for voting Mailliw.

You're referring to Maill's Info Shop? I didn't give him the information he's using for the shop. But yes, I am giving away information, but the difference between me and Maill is that I'm not attached to a faction. I've defected. I'm not going for the win, so I'm helping everyone equally. Maill isn't. He's still attached to his faction so he's going to be seeking to further his factions' ends so he can secure the win, keeping as much information about the Librarians out of everyone else's hands.
