Lord Pifferdoo he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Wait, who was the second vote for Peng? 2
Lightsworn Panda he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 What do you mean? Sorry, I was hyped up on caffeine when I wrote that (Panda + coffee = Pandapocalypse) Since it was near the end of the cycle, if I removed my vote, Peng might not have responded fast enough, and I may have ben accidentally lynched.
Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 So, it looks like Cultivation used her special vote then. Joe, you said Shards that invest at night count as having Invested the night before. Does that mean Cultivation invested in someone else or that she just counts as invested? 1
Clanky he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) EDIT what was in this post was said by mailliw73 in above message. Posted mine before his showed up on my screen. Edited February 4, 2015 by Clanky 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 All Shard who invest at night were considered to have invested last night. They did not invest in anyone. 1
Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 All Shard who invest at night were considered to have invested last night. They did not invest in anyone. So then, it must've been Cultivation. Dominion can only change someone else's vote and Peng's vote wasn't changed. 1
Clanky he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Seems like peng has made a powerful enemy already. 1
vineyarddawg Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Why would Cultivation do that? I don't understand. I thought we all agreed on no lynch tonight... 2
Metacognition he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 This could also include Dominion if they are capable of changing someone's no vote to a vote. Joe: could we get a ruling on that? 1
Clanky he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Why would Cultivation do that? I don't understand. I thought we all agreed on no lynch tonight... Cultivation is the only one who can open up PMs. Maybe he got suspicious because of something that came up in one of them. EDIT: If Dominion was involved there would be a name with the vote right? Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 This could also include Dominion if they are capable of changing someone's no vote to a vote. Joe: could we get a ruling on that? Maybe, but I'd thought that in that case, the changed voter's name would appear on the tally. 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Yes. Dominion operates like your basic Rioter. Physically moving a vote. 1
Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Yes. Dominion operates like your basic Rioter. Physically moving a vote. I take it that means that they do what I thought they do? Can Dominion still move a no-vote to a vote?
leiftinspace he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Would the no-vote dominion changed show whose vote was changed?
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Dominion's Vote changing: Before Dominion: Bob(1): Carol Carol(2): Bob, Alice No Vote: Danny, Edward Then Dominion changes Danny's no-vote to Bob. After Dominion: Bob(2):Carol, Danny Carol(2): Bob, Alice No Vote Edward. 2
twelfthrootoftwo Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Can I suggest we don't go much further with the analysis of Cultivation's vote? I've said before that the identities of the Shardholders are sensitive info, and I don't think we should actively try to identify Cultivation unless we're going for a full reveal. 1
ostrichofevil he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I agree with twelfthrootoftwo. Cultivation is a safe role.
ostrichofevil he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Eshei worried… worried about everything… everything in the Cosmere… She had made a full recovery… recovered from her state… state of prophecy… state of hate… state of Odium. Lady Ostrisce opened her Eyes. Not her Physical eyes, but her Cognitive ones. She hovered above an ocean of dark Spheres, roiling and shifting under the light of the black sun. After spending so much time in Shadesmar, she had become attuned to the thoughts of the Spheres, so she could feel their impressions even from up here. Table. Lamp. Tower. She ignored these impressions as she let herself slowly fall into the Ocean. "Careful… Dangerous…" whispered Eshei, now much larger than she had been in the Physical realm. "Why are you so worried?" replied Ostrisce. "I've been to Shadesmar countless times." Hitting the ocean of Spheres, Ostrisce now made ready to travel to her destination. The process was still hard, even though it was her 423rd time using the Surge of Transportation. Braize. Braize. Braize. Ostrisce envisioned her intended destination. Braize. Braize. Braize. SHE WAS THERE. -- For PM purposes, I'm still on Roshar. Edited February 4, 2015 by ostrichofevil 1
Guest Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Meta, in RE to what you said in the day topic, Aonar should be protected for reasons outside of his planning...
Guest Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Can I suggest we don't go much further with the analysis of Cultivation's vote? I've said before that the identities of the Shardholders are sensitive info, and I don't think we should actively try to identify Cultivation unless we're going for a full reveal. Cultivation hasn't been online, so s/he may not have been paying much attention to the happenings anyway.
Guest Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Eesh. I don't know if that will work unless Endowment somehow gets ahold of one us and reveals Odium. Of course, I have no idea what has already happened in the PMs. Edit: Hi, "guest" lurker. Edit 2: The only issue I have is that it effectively sidelines the rest of us. The only people that do anything in that plan are Honor and Ruin. If they manage to lockdown Odium, none of the Shards will be at risk at all, which, as vineyarddawg said earlier, just doesn't seem as fun. Those of us who have no special powers will be lambs before the slaughter while the big guys open up with the big guns. Edited February 4, 2015 by Snoopy
leiftinspace he/him Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 For what it's worth, i think i approve of Metas idea of having ruin kill inactives and lurkers, for the reasons already mentioned. We need to get people talking so we have some info to go on. 2
Guest Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) whut? Edit: Nevermind, I get it. And I was referring to Aonar's plan. Edited February 4, 2015 by Snoopy
