Thanks for running the game Joe. It had great mechanics, and I'd love to see it again with improved balance.  :)

Odium and his Champions, you all did great from beginning to end, and I want to congratulate you on sowing chaos to the end and not giving up.

Also, thanks for the compliments on my plan. I'm glad I was able to do something helpful despite having no role and no extra information.

Yeah, you kind of killed our whole Odious approach to getting the villagers uncomfortable with the Shard Coalition, as we were trying to play up the whole 'villagers are now useless' argument! XD Of course your posts showed merit to the idea that that's just a silly way of thinking! :P

I started to resent the fact that us Shards were holding information from the villagers near the end, which is why I was so susceptible to Mailiw's manipulation willing to look at things another way. By the way, Meta. If I was in your place and if I had thought it up, then I would totally have done the same thing.

My manipulation? You mean asking if you wanted to be a Champion? :P

I had a plan for Jain to ask you for protection from the lynch the last cycle, but by the time I thought of it, neither you or Jain was going to get on before the end of the cycle.

Nicely ran Joe. As it was my first game, does anyone have any comments or criticism about how I played?

I've been meaning to get back here and address some of the comments made in the Docs (I'd do it, Wilson and I'd look Fabulous doing so, but not until I feel I can actually lay claim to your crown! ;) In the mean time, I accept your offer to rule together!), but life and classes keep getting in the way.

As such, I'm going to lock the thread (as I think we've all moved on to a degree) and just say that if anyone else wants to try to run a similar scenario, they really should check out the Docs. Joe did a great job of realizing where his game had flaws. Since most of them were late additions, I don't blame him for it. Planning out the balance in these games takes a lot of time and late additions can throw huge wrenches into the works. I'll say this much, this game is definitely one that I'd love to see remade, as the concept and the game play were top notch! With a few improvements, this is a scenario for the ages!

Thank you Joe for running an amazing game! I really hope we get to see a 2.0 version. That would be an epic game!

As always, if anyone would like to try your hand at running a game, please get a hold of GammaWilson or myself. Not only will we get you added to the list, but I'm sure we'd be more than willing to help out in any way we can as well!

You can also ask questions and get some hints and feedback from everyone over here in our Art of Game Creation thread as well. With all the games that we've run so far, we have plenty of experienced GMs that can help you refine any game you're thinking about!

Thanks again to everyone that played and we look forward to seeing you in future games!
