Young Bard he/him Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Not Mjolnir, right? No, that's Thor's hammer. I couldn't remember this one either.
Delightful Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Can we claim this a win for FireSlayer and pick another question?
little wilson she/her Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Can we claim this a win for FireSlayer and pick another question? Go for it.
Delightful Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Coolio. I'm not sure how hard this will be......name two Spartan kings.
Paragrin she/her Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The spear is Gungnir. I don't know the other. 1
Kasimir he/him Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Coolio. I'm not sure how hard this will be......name two Spartan kings. 1. Leonidas I 2. Pleistarchus Name ten different species of dinosaurs. (You don't have to give their scientific names, I'm perfectly happy with their regular ones.)
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 T.Rex Stegasaurus Triceratops Li Xing Brontosaurus Diplodicus Giganotosaurus Pterodactyl Quetzacoaltl Allasaurus Without looking it up, name 5 Golden Age comic book heroes.
Delightful Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Giganotosaurus? And isn't quezalcoatl a South American god? 1
Young Bard he/him Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Giganotosaurus? And isn't quezalcoatl a South American god? They're real. I just looked them up. (Well, technically, it's Quetzcoatlus, but close enough.) Links to the Wikipedia page in the quote. 1
Seonid he/him Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Golden Age Heroes? Well, let's see what I can do. I'm not 100% sure if all of these were around during the Golden Age of Comic Books (still a little bit hazy on where the date cutoffs are, too, tbh), but here's a shot. Superman The Flash Spiderman Batman The Green Arrow
Pestis the Spider she/her Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) T.Rex Stegasaurus Triceratops Li Xing Brontosaurus Diplodicus Giganotosaurus Pterodactyl Quetzacoaltl Allasaurus Without looking it up, name 5 Golden Age comic book heroes. But pterodactyl and Quetzalcoatlus are pterosaurs not dinosaurs. That's completely different clade and order of animals. O.o And could someone give me the link to this Li Xing dinosaur? I can't find how it looked like, and I'm really interested in it. Edited July 27, 2015 by Pestis the Spider
Titan Arum Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) T.Rex Stegasaurus Triceratops Li Xing Brontosaurus Diplodicus Giganotosaurus Pterodactyl Quetzacoaltl Allasaurus Without looking it up, name 5 Golden Age comic book heroes. Swooping in here all last minute after it's been determined that you won with this answer...but pterodactyls aren't technically dinosaurs. They are just flying reptiles. Dinosaurs are technically dinosaurs because they evolved specialized pelvis bones that allow their legs to develop directly below them. This means that when they run they do not crush their own lungs, making it impossible to breath at the same time. Pterosauars lacked this type of specialized hip joint. Poor pterosaurs, but at least they were the first vertebrates to develop flight! [Edit: Pestis beat me to this. ] Edited July 27, 2015 by Titan Arum
Seonid he/him Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Oops... And since there is a question about the answer before mine, I'll grab that one too. Nothing to do with the fact that I'm a little bit of a dinosaur nerd... Just for fun, I'll even make them all theropods: Tyrannosaurus Allosaurus Velociraptor Megalosaurus Carnotaurus Spinosaurus Baryonyx Ceratosaurus Dromaeosaurus Utahraptor That's 10. Technically, of course, it's only 10 genera. Within the Tyrannosaurus genus alone there are several species (T. rex, T. bataar, etc.) But I'm not sure that I could do 10 dinosaurs with the species name. Anyways. For my question: Name 10 Golden Age villains from the Spiderman comic.

RippleGylf she/her Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 My guess is there are probably multiple teams called The Fantastic Four... but I wouldn't know.
