Sarcasm she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Venture, Hasting, Elarial, Tekiel, Lekal, Erikeller. Sorry for any spelling mistakes. Without looking it up, name 10 aons, and their definitions, or effects when drawn. Bonus if: You can name the part of the landscape of Arelon it mirrors. Edited May 17, 2015 by Sarcasm

Curiosity he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 OK... I actually had to look this up. Skimmer Steelrunner Windwhisper Brute Sparker Heat Archivist Sentry Bloodmaker Pinnacle Gasper Subsumer Trueself Connector Spinner Soulbearer Name 7 vigilantes
Left he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Batman Robin Nightwing Green Arrow Flash(? not actually sure about that one) Huntress Miciah (From Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, they start out as vigilantes anyway) Any Order of the Phoenix member during book 7 Galad as a Whitecloak? Kinda counts If those count, than name four real world Holy Books(as in main book of a large current religion)
Lindel he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Define "main book". There are four sets of scripture that we use in the LDS church alone, and no one book takes precedence over the other. Edited May 27, 2015 by Lindel 1
Kasimir he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 1. The Qu'ran (Islam) 2. The Talmud (Judaism) 3. The Upanishads (Hinduism) 4. The Bible (Christianity) 5. The Bhagavad Gita (Hinduism) 6. 道德经 (Taoism) 7. Guru Granth Sahib (Sikhism) It may be somewhat inappropriate to cite texts of Hinduism as Hinduism is such a complex decentralised religion that you can't really think of it in a highly unitary sense, much less refer to a 'main' Holy Book. It really depends on how you disentangle the religious branches. For this reason, I've chosen to add two more texts, just in case. Without looking it up, name the moons of Pluto.
Curiosity he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Pluto has only one moon as far as I can remember, and that's Charon. Edit: And I was SO wrong about that. There's a few more. Edited May 27, 2015 by Curiosity 1

I know lol, I'm one of the members on here. I really would've counted any 2-3 of them, but not all four at once. 1
Delightful Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 1. The Qu'ran (Islam) 2. The Talmud (Judaism) 3. The Upanishads (Hinduism) 4. The Bible (Christianity) 5. The Bhagavad Gita (Hinduism) 6. 道德经 (Taoism) 7. Guru Granth Sahib (Sikhism) I just want to jump in and clarify, the Talmud is extremely important, but the basis of Judaism and Jewish law etc. is the Torah. Plus the Talmud is not a single book - if it was you'd probably need a crane or two to lift it.

For some reason, I knew about the Torah but forgot about it. *sadface*
Blaze1616 he/him Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Hang on, what's the current question? Name Pluto's moons. Edited May 29, 2015 by Blaze1616
Sarcasm she/her Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Does it count as "looking it up" if I got it from reading an astronomy book yesterday, then just found this question today? If not, then Charon, hydra, nyx, styx, kerberos. (Apologize for any spelling errors.) 7
Sarcasm she/her Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Okay, I'm assuming that that doesn't count as cheating. Without looking it up, state and define all of Sanderson's Laws.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Okay, I'm assuming that that doesn't count as cheating. Without looking it up, state and define all of Sanderson's Laws. Lindel he/him Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Ah, I was only counting Landwalk and Protection once each, but that works.

Blaze1616 he/him Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Pidegeotto Caterpie Bulbasaur Squirtle Charmander (Traded for) Raticate Krabby Primape Tauros Muk Lapris(?) I feel like I'm missing obvious ones so I'll wait for confirmation. You missed Haunter, though he technically never "caught" Haunter, just befriended it, so I'll give it to you. Also, Lapras was not during the Indigo League, but shortly after it. Ah, I was only counting Landwalk and Protection once each, but that works. Mmm, my apologies. I've never considered Landwalk one ability, though I did take into account protection. Heh, sorry.

Wait, seriously? That's all the pokemon he caught? Ash, you are the worst pokemon trainer. If you're Pikachu wasn't god-tier, you wouldn't have half the badges you do. Anyway...hmm... Without looking it up, name 15 Transformers
