What correct predictions did you make on your first read? (SPOILERS ALL)

We know that there is a lot of foreshadowing going on in Brandons work, and there's a lot of stuff that a careful reader can pick up on, and some things that are not so subtle. What things did you correctly predict on your first read through?

My correct predictions were: 

- Shallan has a shardblade 

- Shallan killed her father 

- Shallan has two shardblades/spren

- Kaladin killed Helaran

- Adolins shardblade. I didn't guess the exact details, but figured pretty early that his sword would end up being sentient. When Maya was fully revealed I also guessed that she would regain her conciousness at a convenient time to help Adolin.

- Elokhar wasn't crazy, he was seeing spren.

- Jasnah didn't die when the ship sank. Ok this one was pretty easy but still. right ro the start I was sure she wasn't actually dead. 

- Gavinor was going to have a larger part to play. Didn't guess the specifics, but I was fairly certain that Gavinor was going to be more important than it initially seemed. 

 

There might be some more, but these are the ones that springs to mind. I also had some incorrect guesses too of course.

I proposed Retribution as the Honour/Odium combination in advance. While it wasn't a super serious locked in prediction I was quite happy about it.

 

Shallan having a shardblade is fairly foreshadowed IMO, she references 10 heartbeats while having a panic attack. From that moment on I expected it.

Elhokar mentions funny symbol headed creatures to Kaladin, I took that to be Cryptics.

Windrunner shardplate being able to protect their radiant while invisible.

Everyone said I was crazy, but vindication was sweet.

Stormfaker theory being a crackpot.

Highstorms going away.

BAM being in another realm. I actually theorized the CR, but I'll take it.

Less than 2 characters would die in WaT.

• Shallan has a shardblade
• Shallan has a double bond (I went wild when Testament was first spotted in the CR)
  • I remember the first time Shallan summoned a blade without counting heartbeats—I messaged my friends who were further ahead than me, and essentially got a RAFO from them
• Kaladin would be the new Herald
• Honor and Odium would combine to form Retribution (though I initially thought Dalinar would be the one to hold them)
• Adolin would 'heal' Maya
• Elhokar was seeing spren
• Zahel was Vasher
• The 'Sja-Anat' that Szeth saw wasn't actually Sja-Anat
• Taravangian would replace Rayse
• Humans weren't native to Roshar
• Being unable to recall his wife's name was Dalinar's boon, not his curse
• Honor was never 'dead', and Tanavast's death was related to BAO
• Shardblades and plate are 'dead' spren
• Roshadium and other animals have their own spren bonds

I know there were others, but I can't remember them all

So I also predicted this, but I also thought it was so obvious that it wasn't really a prediction. I wasn't on the forums at the time, but was this genuinely a point of contention?

WaT only:

The Stormfather being a liar.

Kharbranth being destroyed by Taravangian as Odium.

Dalinar Ascending to Honor.

Odium is free and basically wins. The Stormfather killed, Stormlight and Highstorms disappearing and the permanent weeping covers the world (kind of, we have the night of sorrows with rain everywhere instead of storms). 

I don't remember more, but those are the main ones. Any predictions I made for books before WaT blends in with theories I read on forum so I have no idea what I was thinking back then (but at that time I was bad at noticing and predicting stuff).

Shallan killed her parents

Dalinar would die in WaT

Navani would become a Bondsmith

Gavilar was trying to become a Herald (using all the wrong supporting evidence)

Gavinor would be Odium's Champion
