  1. Hammond or Breeze probably. Think I would prefer Breeze though!
  2. I don't know the answer, but I think I would prefer it if her illness was natural.
  3. 4 And I really hope one of the other three options never comes true.
  4. My favourite character is probably Adolin. However, Dalinar and Jasnah are also up there. For least favourite, I would probably say Lift, Venli, and perhaps controversially, Szeth. Lift I think becomes a bit better as the series goes on, but the writing in her chapters feel quite jarring. Venli is, eh. I'm not nearly as invested in the Singers as I am in the other characters, and she's the main Singer we follow. I don't really hate Szeth or anything, but I liked him much more prior to WaT. He was very cool as the assassin in white, but I feel like the more we got to know him, the less I liked him. However, it might be because I didn't really like the Shinnovar parts of WaT, and he gets the blame for all of it.
  5. For me, the strongest parts of the book by far was the stuff with Adolin. In particular, the scenes with Adolin fighting in Azimir. Also the scenes with Taln.
  6. Probably pewter tbh. Tin would be good, but pewter seems more useful. Especially the ability to withstand injury.
  7. Just need to put him in a fat suit. Or get him to do a Christian Bale and do a full body transformation. Apperence wise, he feels much more closer to someone like Hoid than Breeze. I could see it though!
  8. If we ignore reality and just go by who I would *like* to play, I would say Dalinar or Adolin. Probably Adolin. If we go by who I could realistically play, then probably Renarin. Or I guess Szeth. As a northen european I have the eyes and the complexion lol. Although it would be cool to play something weird, like a spren. Maybe Pattern?
  9. I'm not sure the story is allegorical at all, but probably metaphorical. While I can't remember the exact details of the story, but I took it to be about accepting who you are and you are, and your limitations while also realising you're capable of great things. Like, the dog was able to pull of some amazing feats despite not being a dragon. The dog is good enough as he is and was able to accomplish things no other dog could.
  10. Hey! Nice, Windrunners are cool. Although I will say that my two highest scoring were Elsecaller and Bondsmith I like almost all kinds of music, but most of my day to day listens are some kind of rock or metal. Bruce Springsteen and Nick Cave are two personal musical heroes. And I probably have several weird traits but might not be the best person to figure out what they are lol. I (usually) eat sandwiches so that there the center piece is left for last, instead of eating end to end. I guess that might be a bit weird?
  11. Stick is the guest of honor.
  12. Way of Kings. A friend nagged me for a long time, and eventually I kind of randomly picked it up at the local nerd store.
  13. This song is currently on repeat. So good!
  14. Of all time? Disco Elysium, World of Warcraft, Baldurs Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Grim Fandango, and Titanfall 2. In no particular order, but just to name a few
  15. Currently watching the show Berlin Station. Very good if you're in to John Le Carré-esque spy stories.
  16. Negative-neutral I guess. I don't HATE her but don't particularly like her either. Usually she's not around enough for it to be an issue though. There was some interesting moments in WoR and the lifelight stuff but I generally find that her shtick grows old pretty quick.
  17. Hoid is perhaps not the *ideal* party guest, but I think he might actually be quite a lot of fun if he wanted to (which is a fairly big caveat I guess). But I think he's one of the most interesting characters in the series, so given the opportunity I'd have to invite him. It's worth some insults. Also, in WoK he gives his name as Hoid twice (to Dalinar and then to Kaladin), and I think that's a cooler name than Wit so I just went with that. Not sure if he mentions it somewhere else, but definitely twice in the first book. Edit: Or technically he doesn't give Hoid as his name, but says that they may call him Hoid. An alternative to Hoid could be Sigzil. I think he'd be fascinating to talk to, and a good party need a mix of people.
  18. Thanks! In no particular order: 1. Adolin 2. Shallan 3. Hoid 4. Rock 5. Syl 6. Kaladin so he doesn't feel left out Thanks I do like DnD but haven't played it in a long while. Since I've only read Stormlight, I can only draw from those characters but I'd say Hoid, Adolin, and Jasnah are some of my fave characters.
  19. I'll leave out WoT since I haven't finished it yet, but: 1. Words of Radiance 2. Way of Kings 3. Oathbringer 4. Rythm of War That being said - Oathbringer probably has my favourite moments in the entire series.
  20. I'll preface this by saying that I enjoy all of the books greatly (although I'm only a short way into Wind and Truth) but I think RoW is the weakest of the series. Personally, I've always found the singer chapters less interesting than the human chapters, and this book has a lot of those. I also think Brandon tried doing something kind of different here, where a large portion of the book is set in a single location, and I'm not entirely sure it completely worked. Certain plot lines dragged on a bit too long, and certain characters were kept out of the story for a bit too long imo. This became especially apparent in the middle section. That being said, there are also parts I really enjoyed.
  21. Hey everyone, I'm Vatsug and fairly new to the Cosmere. Although I've binge read the Stormlight Archive since about the beginning of this year, and am currently in the process of reading Wind and Truth. I look forward to also diving deeper into the Cosmere in the future! As a bit of a lore nerd for whatever universe I'm into I just had to sign up for this forum. Other than this, I enjoy video games, TTRPGs, chilling with friends, music, and cooking. Edit: In the Knight Radiant Order Quiz my top 3 results were Elsecaller, Bondsmith, and Windrunner
