Yeah, but I would consider that Brandon didn't want to reveal and wanted to tease us. Doesn't explain in world reasoning except just what Hoid found convinient.

This does not seem to be the case at all. They basically just got done talking about how they have no idea where Frost is and if the sister is Starling's mother that doesn't bode well for her status. It reads to me as Hoid possibly having children of his own now as weird as that might be or it might be Kaise and Daorn (even though they aren't actually twins) but that has some implications for the Ghostbloods.

Brandon did mention a very long time ago that Kaise and Daorn would be main characters for Elantris 2 (WoB). Not sure if that's still the plan, but he did have bigger plans for them at some point. I mean obviously we know Kaise joined the Ghostbloods, but it's cool to know there were plans for Daorn too.

Also, they hate when Lukel calls them "the Twins". And, if Hoid knew that about them, he'd call them "the Twins" every chance he got just to antagonize them.

The top candidates, in my opinion, are

• Medelantorius (Valor) - unlikely, given that she chose to avoid him during WaT.
• Jasnah - unlikely, for similar reasons
• Shai - hates Hoid a lot, but it could happen
• Design - weird, but possible I guess, especially with sylladin being semi-confirmed
• Someone we don't know - very likely in universe, but boring, so I don't know if he'll actually go this route
• Emily Sanderson self-insert character - since Hoid is arguably a Brandon Sanderson self-insert
