Layke was glad, somewhat. This other Shard understood him - he felt better having an ally. And so Invention observed the new planet and new god in his system, thinking of possibilities. Welcome. This is not what I had intended, but it is good for us, I think. My planet shall stay in place - but Yrots shall complicate matters. What location shall we decide for it?

Yes. It will. It needs to be in a habitable zone, as I do not wish for my creatures to die, but it cannot interfere with the orbit of yours.

The number of planets is not decided. His planet is in the habitable zone of the G-type star in the binary system. I'm going to say that the white dwarf is far enough away that the planet is only slightly warmer because of it.

Also the Laykium core will do something. The habitable zone will be slightly further out because of the white dwarf.

Like @al_lan_mandragoran said, Virtuosity is making a super giant star go supernova. All systems in the Cosmere will be bombarded by radiation and high amounts of Virtuosity's Investiture. Also the resulting black hole will become Virtuosity's Avatar, so a sentient black hole monster that can destroy the whole cosmere and call it art.

As Whimsy, you may or may not wish to react.

Valor's plea echoes across the vast expanse of space and ricochets against Whimsy's conciousness with a reverberating DOOOOONG sound. This halts him in his tracks and sends him briefly pinwheeling through space and bumping into asteroids as he considered the message. 
Oh shoot. This actually requires some attention. He thought, his ADHD mind struggling to focus.
This is not good. A sentient black hole, infused with investiture? That could consume star systems even faster than I eat all the burritos at Taco Bell, which doesn't exist in this universe!
He clears his throat, causing a nearby asteroid to implode by accident.
Then he begins to yodel, broadcasting to the shards across the cosmere.

The black hole will  act independently, but it follows the same Intent and is more spren-like (difficult that you don't know what spren are). 

So expect the black hole to do things just as bad.
