jajaja, picked literally the planet least likely to ever naturally produce chickens.

 

Whimsy stands there for a moment, in silence.

He stands there for a full 3 and a half hours.
He has inadvertantly fallen asleep, somehow, hhe has found a way to sleep in shardic form.
He wakes up with a snap. "Blurgh, ugh, wahat? Its fine, I've decided that I don't like chicken nuggets. Too nuggety.
He disappears out of the cognitive realm with a very rude sounding and flateulent noise, before sending his concoisness through the expanse of space, searching for a suitable planet.

Layke was unhappy to be bothered, though he did trust this particular Shard for the most part. Still, he decided to respond. I am dissatisfied, somehow. We - mortals - killed the mightiest being to exist, and took that power. We can do practically anything, and yet still be wrong. Finally I can almost prepare for anything, and yet I still don’t know what to expect - or even what to do. The others - not all, but several - are being so erratic with their powers that I can’t know what will happen next.

Yes. I agree with you. I do not condone or trust most of the actions taken by the other shards.

At this point, Cultivation was wondering if he should invite Invention to his system. It would certainly make things more interesting. If not, Cultivation could ask if he could move Yrots to the system that Invention had found.

But still, Cultivation was not quite ready for that.

Cultivation needed to learn more about Invention.

13 pulses, each coloring the sky with flashes of hot magenta and electric cyan. The truine life will almost certainly die soon, their souls being mutated and burned as easily as their flesh.  If not now, the next stage will annihilate it anyway, though he may keep some of that darkside flora- it does have some interesting colors.

Layke’s visions of the future trembled again, but they solidified again as - unknown to him - Cultivation decided against an immediate request. I should have known your Shard would give you interest in that. At the moment, though, I must disappoint - I have no goal but to have it all make sense, something the others are making it very hard to do. I have been learning what I can do, but the speed at which the others created life does not seem appealing.

Yes. I do also find it odd at how fast the others are going. I am still formulating my plan, my system.

I wish for things to Cultivate, for them to grow. But, you need a stable foundation if you ever want to make a skyscraper. I managed to save Yolen. Ruined it may be, I have salvaged it's last parts. I wish to make it into a strong planet. I wish to Cultivate it's growth.

This looks like a wonderful place you have built. I, to, wish for it all to make sense. I find it wonderful that we can just think of a question, and we have the answer. We can learn anything in the world.

We are all omniscient.

And yet, you have to wonder, we are merely Shards of another being. A piece. So who knows how great the first God was. The one that we are all modeled after. We must be weaker, and we are.

If just 16 could kill a god, how many would be needed to kill a fake?

And that was where Cultivation left it. Cultivation knew more than ever that he would extend those requests, but he wanted to watch Invention first. They have different enough Intents for conflict. Cultivation would need to watch. To wait. For he knew what he might one day have to do. For now, he had invested nothing, with only traces of his Intent of Yrots. He could move it as he pleases.

But first, he needed that stable foundation.

That is scary. Cultivation wont be truly using his planet any time soon, he still needs that 'stable foundation'.

He is plotting around the supernova.
