So the black hole is like that, but wants to create art. By destroying things. It can learn and change, but it'll be very slow. Like maybe kandra slow.

My planet already has some weird orbital mechanics - it is as far from the normal star as the white dwarf is, exactly. We’d have to hear more about the system to find out what number that is, but the numbers will be less cut and dry with a binary system anyway.

Also the Laykium core will do something. The habitable zone will be slightly further out because of the white dwarf.

The core is already doing things to the planet - if you’re referring to the star, it does not have any Laykium in it (yet).

Invention realized just how much of a problem his fellow Shards would be. Whimsy was the lesser of two evils, though, so he manifested a projection of himself to speak. 
Layke was clothed simply, much as he was during their journey together. He sighed, and spoke. “What do you suggest?”

Whimsy is floating around through the expanse of space, doing cartwheels when Invention manifest in front of him. "Yaaaaaaaaarg" He yelps in shock, pinwheeling his arms around as he careens out of the way and crashes into an asteroid, which subsequently implodes due to the accidental infusion of investiture.
Whimsy recovers the miniscule amount of dignity he has left, and his ADHD mind struggles to focus enough to remember why a shard was meeting him. Oooooh wait, He remembers with a jolt. I asked to meet. Now I- ooo a spren. 
He spends a good 20 minutes chasing after it.
Invention is lookng thoroughly irritated at this point. Whimsy eventually remebers the point of the meeting and settles down, clutching the wriggling spren in his incorpoeal palms.
"I think, " Whimsy says in a voice that sounds like mickey mouse inhaled enough helium to asphyxiate him, "that diplomacy might be the best thng to try first. At the moment, most of the *burp* shards, includng you i think, are already bound to a star system. Few of us are fee to roam the cosmere, I think.

You're orbital mechanics will indeed be stranger as, from your description, your planet occupies the L3 Largrange Point between the G-Type and the White Dwarf, which makes it kind of stable but also kind of not. If Coder's orbit is perpendicular, then there'll be some funky stuff going on.
