I won’t say no one died, but he did say they were detained, not killed. Probably at least one person did die, but not the majority

Gerald's pride only a little bit hurt, he wandered the crowd looking for anyone who might be interested in his shop. He spots a rather gloomy person, and shuffled next to him. "Hey there stranger, you seem rather tired. Gee, if only there was something that could pep you up!" He noticed the priest next to him and decided to rope him in as well. "Why, have you two heard of The Flame?"

I'm going to try to insert myself into as many situations and interactions as possible LOL

Now the cops were getting uncomfy with this guy. “Should we give him off to Taylor at the station?”  “Yeah”

they get to the station and sit him in a room. After a lil another cop walks in. He has soft green blue eyes and orange hair. He was around 6 foot with a blue grey law enforncemt uniform and a captains badge. He didnt looks scary tho, kinda nice actually.

”thats a nice fire you got there.” He notes casually sitting down.

“It is not nice. It is there. It will always be there, even after it is extinguished.”

".. I believe not. what is it?" He continues to walk, looking at the stranger.

Unlike others who look at him strange. He nods. “Oh fancy, so like a permanent flame, say whats the important of this flame, why is it eternal?”

"Glad you asked! It's a little shop I run, where I serve you the best coffee on this side of town, if I do say so myself, haha. (And I do.) It's a nice spot to rest, relax, and really 'chill' out, despite the name. We've garnered quite a following, and have become a classic to many. If our special coffee blends aren't quite your style, well we have..." Gerald continues rambling on and on about his shop, going into more detail than someone would want to type out. There simply was so much to say about The Flame, after all.

“Thank you to all of you for being here for this announcement. You are dismissed.” He spoke to Zera’s bodyguards and they began to take her to the carriage.

Maverick trudges back to his apothecary, casually advertising to the people he passes.

I dunno how to get this guy into a scenario so feel free to chat him up at the apothecary.

I will be gone in about 2 1/2 hours for my connecting flight however, but for now I’m good.

The man from the crowd left. He went through an alley.

One of the cops, Henry, because the cop is now in ten thousand posts and i need more unique names, thinks he’s sus and follows him.

".. I may visit, though.. im not much a fan of alcohol, I apologize on that subject... but.. those other things seem enticing" He smiles at him as he continued to walk.

He goes down many winding and narrow roads and is very hard to follow.

Taylor nods. "I'm taylor. So jectree. I detained you because you were causing a commotion. And you were also getting a bit. Let's just say, crazy." They say calmly and respectfully.

Jectree growled. This kid seemed... reasonable. Also... normal. But he served the king. The monster. "That's what I wanted to do."

The man didn’t seem to hear him. But several other seedy looking people did. The cop felt a sudden but strong desire to leave.

Henry was a dumb cop so he walked away

Why did he... Blood of his fathers. Why did he resist? "Because he's a monster." he whispered, not knowing the truth.

The man stopped outside a dirty hostel and looked back. The cop was gone.

”Coming in, Komat?”

”No. One more stop to make.”

He continued on. The alley let out near the station, no doubt where the man who’d made the commotion was being held. He sat across from the station and set a can by his foot. He could at least try to get something while he waited.

Taylor leans forward. “Why is he a monster though? What is he doing to make you say that?”

"He rules with tyranny. A true government should let the people protest, and hear and listen fairly to their complaints." he frowned. Where had he gotten that notion? He was no philosopher.

He looked up and smiled sadly, his teeth covered with grime. “I’s just hopin’ fer gettin’ some change, sers.”

“We let you do so, quietly. You were causing a disturbance in the square. I dont want to undermine you but if there is to much unrest of the people then it can be hard to keep riots under control” he replies still calm but a little bit more authorative.

"Explain why my friend has been dead in the street for four days, then, because he dared to question the king's reign."
