Do they even know that you can charge spheres by praying at midnight? Retribution send the Listeners a messenger. They needed to be told. It is not obvious and it is not clear whether they will make that advantage public.

I'm generous, I'm kind. I'm a good guy. 2. I think the news will travel pretty quickly across Roshar - There will be people not loyal to Odium (Now Retribution) living in his areas who can both access the light and spread the word. If people in Retributions controlled area did the prayer and didn't receive light it could be an incendiary point ("Did you hear about Dan? He didn't get light, he's not a believer!") and I think it would be better for Retribution for his kingdoms to remain cohesive.

LeondeBowa Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 (edited) Violet in the colour spectrum is blue and red. Red is the colour of stolen investiture. If I remember correctly blue is the colour of stormlight. Maybe using stormlight in a way it's shard Retribution does not like counts as stealing? Edited January 21, 2025 by LeondeBowa

No. Violet is the furthest point on the visible spectrum, and is furthest away from red. It is not the mixture of blue and red. Given how heavily Cosmeric science seems to lean towards the idea of vibration and/or frequency in general, this may be a pretty important point. You might be referring to the colours positions on a colour wheel. But A colour wheel is not how light actually works.
