He hated feeling like he was taking something from her. GM HQ: Sharanna turned sharply. She gave Adris a very dark look. "How could you consider something so awful?" She put her hand on her dueling cane again. "Can't you see? He's just a child." It was an innocent enough sentiment, yet there was something chilling in her voice. "I'm sorry dear!" Sharanna exclaimed, letting go of him and standing up. She briskly patted dust off of her trousers. She noticed his blank expression. "Are you alright?" She held her pale hand out to him. There was a gold ring on her middle finger. "Why don't you come with me? I can help, sweetheart." HG Arena: "Oh . . . crap." Sharp mumbled. He'd expected this but that didn't make it easier. He pulled Corin's knife out of his pocket, not entirely sure how much it'd help. Gavin took her hand, but his eyes remained blank and unfocused.

I was thinking of a happy ending for my character... Dougella, HG Arena Dougella's grin fades at the sight of the peacekeepers in front of their escape. Peacekeepers who were trained to defeat invested people. People like her, and the others that were there. A gasp sounds out from her, as she also notices the size of the guns. What do I do? she thinks turning towards Pigment, who stood rock solid beside her. Thoughts whiz through her mind, and she glances at Sharp. I can't let anything happen to him, or the others she glances around at all the other people that she had made friends with. She sighs, a content one. "I bet I will be the one that helps them" she mutters happy. She lets Sharps hands fall, and starts running to the group of peacekeepers, Pigment running with her, and shrinking to jump onto her shoulder. She reaches her hand into the uniform that she was wearing, reaching for the glass of metals in her pocket. Where a single bead lay, she smashes it in her fist, and stores some luck into it. She feels some luck slip into the metal as she wills it too, then swallows it, swallowing the whole thing dry. She gasps at the beauty of the storage inside of her, and flares her metal, the alloy of luck and chromium. Something that she created, and others would never be able to make. Bullets fly at her, and she ducks and moves, graceful, with her spren moving around her dancing between the bullets. She laughs. Feeling a somewhat familiar tug in her gut. She twirls dancing closer to the guards. Bullets seemingly graze her skin, but the remaining stormlight take those worries away, crystallising her skin. She unsheaths her sword as she reaches the guards dispatching them one at a time in a gory dance, one that she detested, but was necessary for the ones that she wanted, the ones she was doing this for. They fought well, but you can't fight luck. But as all things in the world, luck has to run out sometime... Dougella feels the metals in her stomach go cold, as the last pieces burn away. The stormlight that ran through her veins did the same thing, rushing to heal a last bullet wound, leaving her defenseless, a bullet fires at her, as she hits the last peacekeeper with her sword, getting rid of them. She feels it enter her body, and crumples to the side, gasping as she clutches her wound, her spren looking over her. @Edema Rue @J. Magi Edited August 18, 2024 by Scars of Hathsin 2
