Edgar just shook his head. What a piece of work. And I still can’t really understand why he hates me so much. I guess it makes sense at the basest level.

Jenny kept her daggers out and glared in Roy’s direction until he left her sight. Once he was gone, she sheathed them and her posture relaxed. An excited smile returned to her face and she turned to Edgar.

”I’m gonna go find a hiding spot nearby. Is there anything else you want to talk about before I leave?”

She skipped off, finding a particularly large tree. She climbed up a few branches, hiding among its boughs and peering through the leaves. Jenny practiced aiming through the blowgun‘s scope for a bit, then uncorked her poison and readied a dart.

Harold sprints through the woods wearing very tattered clothes and a poorly made bow and arrows strapped to his back. He sees a kid with a shortsword, but doesn't stop. He just wanted to get away from the giant ant. It wouldn't stop chasing him.

Edgar stood, watching the kid. If he came a little closer, Jenny should be able to hit him with a dart.

Jenny noticed a kid come rushing towards them. He wasn’t wearing camp clothing, though, and his weapons didn’t seem to be the ones you’d find in their armories. She pulled out her blowgun, but wavered. What if this kid wasn’t actually playing the game? She decided to fire a warning shot. A non-poisoned dart wizzed right past the kid’s ear. She yelled from the tree.

”Do you need help or are you stealing our flag?”

"Please help!" Harold yells, just noticing the girl. "There's a giant ant chasing me! My arrows just bounce off it's shell!"
