Granted, you are trapped on Venus, where the days are shorter, so Thanksgiving Break lasts the same amount of time. Not to mention you're stuck on a blazing clump of toxic gas.

Actually a day on Venus lasts around 243 earth days in fact Venus will undergo two hole rotations around the sun before it finishes one whole day. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing given that you are now trapped on said toxic planet for several months.
