Granted you now have the ability to make the simulation once, you managed to make the program but it took you long arduous 10 years and then after a long long wait, you run your simulation and you see an accelerated version of your life. You learn so much from this experience about yourself, other people in your life, you see so much technological advancement, you even begin to comprehend the deeper meaning of life as your entire life flashes past your eyes that the experience brings tears to your eyes.. After such a profound experience, the simulation gets over and the you open your eyes.... And you have forgotten everything from the simulation, every single thing that you just saw you have forgotten, each answer learnt lost, any deeper meanings you had grasped, lost to you the instant the simulation is over. It is taken from you in a way as if you never even experienced the simulation. All that remains is the vague sense that it was something profound that you saw, but lost almost immediately. 

You let others use your program, hoping for a different result for them but alas, it is the same each time. They hate you afterwards because they blame you for taking the memory away.. 

I wish for the ability to heal completely myself and others of every disease known to humans ever, now and in the future while incurring no harm myself from it..

"That can be arranged" the Nightwatcher purred, "if you take it off first..."

You refuse, naturally and make to leave, when suddenly"such impertinence" the Nightwatcher's voice rang out, low and dangerous,"few have ever dared to turn away from me"  her voice made goosebumps appear on your skin.

"But I may yet overlook that, for even though oth-" she suddenly lunges for your face, her hundreds of arms dragging her body towards you in a burst of speed, a terrifying thing to behold. You almost freeze in terror, but flinch just enough that her hands merely graze across the skin on your face (but not the skin of your face, of course). That contact was enough to make adrenaline course through your veins, you turned and you ran like you had never run before in your life.

You turn to look behind you as you run, a mistake, as you behold the even more terrifying vision of the Nightwatcher using her multitude of arms to scurry from tree to tree above you, each arm grabbing branch after branch and weaving and coiling through the trees towards you. You run even faster. You can feel your lungs burning, but like Fleet before the Stormfather, you kept running and running and running.

Laughter behind you, but you don't turn to look behind you. "Is this what you wish for, masked one? To keep running?" her voice drifted across the woods, as though the trees themselves had spoken. "Granted" , her voice rang out. You stopped running, stopped moving even. You start sucking, yet try as you might you could not get your body to move. "your previous wish is granted". How did she do that?, you wondered. You could feel a breeze poking at your back, before you realized that the thing poking at your back wasn't a breeze. Terror, you experienced true terror at that moment. "Your bane..." a voice smooth as silk called out,"is that in order for that to happen, you must keep running" . Elsewhere, @ShadowLord_Lith is experiencing nearly as much terror as you, as he suddenly starts running and running and running, unable to stop.

You vile trickster, you curse, and you curse and you curse, as dawn comes and goes, and a new evening approaches. The smell of something delicious wafts towards, making your stomach knot uncomfortably in hunger pangs. "Just decide to show me your face", the Nightwatcher's hands caress you, "and you can move again", she idly points towards a buffet table of twisted branches of living trees, on which rested clay utensils containing the most mouth-watering dishes.

I suddenly have a great idea, and using a goldmind that I have handy and a spare spike, I drive the spike through a certain bindpoint, heal, and viola! *italian chef kiss* I no longer have the boon or bane, but still retain the mask.

Granted, you can weave peoples connections, but you do so automatically to everyone around you, and every time you weave someones connections, their connection to you is destroyed. Have a good time having no friends!

Granted! You now have the ability to be sure about gravity. You just know gravity will always work on you. Your surety is the most certain, true, definite thing ever. You’re so positive about it that you can’t even be negative about it. You’re also in space now and can’t leave it. You’re surviving fine, but being driven mad by your curse insisting that you feel a gravitational pull while your body feels no such pull and your observations convey that to you.  

I wish for the Surge of Gravitation, and to have no ill side effects stemming from it. You can make me a Radiant or not, up to you, Your Majesty. *gives the Nightwatcher a very polite look* I’ll try to do good with this power, regardless.

Granted. You get completely broken by some traumatic event from your childhood and end up bonding an honorspren in order to protect the one person you like that didn't die.

So, you live depressed ever after watching over some person 24/7. Your bane is that they die anyway, but come back to life after being tortured for a year. Repeat cycle.

I wish that Brandon would give us some more definite information on the Spiritual Realm.

Granted, he will spend the next 15 years writing a 7 book series about the stick from WoR's spiritual aspect. It will completely demolish his fan base, but when he finally starts writing good books again, they will return, forgiving him his absence, and he will become the most popular author in the world. Unfortunately, he will die of old age before finishing the last book in the cosmere, and all of his notes will be destroyed by the one person left in the world who still hates his books. Great wish!

For your Boon: We grant a dictionary-like knowledge of the correct spelling of all words, correct, and perfect punctuation -- in fact, perfect editing skills. Further, as a reward for fast typing, you can sense mistakes in any text before reading it.

The downside, of course, is that now you cannot stand anything with even the slightest misspelling or inaccuracy, since your new-found skills act somewhat like OCD. Another problem is that the rules of spelling and grammar are known to you for ALL languages, past and present, and slang, and you are constantly receiving updates which are often completely contradictory or vague. This is incredibly annoying and sometimes its hard to tell which rules are "official" (hint: more commonly accepted rules feel stronger).

Well, yes, I don't really think that I could tell something like that from a single wish! But my interpretation of the Nightwatcher is that she is supposed to be "cultivating" people with her boons and banes, so I think she could plausible come to just such a misinterpretation and given someone a terribly disproportionate curse they don't even need!
