I now desperately want to write a DW fanfiction with Sam and Revolution as companions.   :P

Posted a brief Aldo scene. I'm a little scraped for time, so I'll have to write Vanilla Sabotage's reaction later. (I'm still not entirely sure what to have them say, so that makes it easier to put it off. :P)

There are far more factions in this game than one would think. We have...

The Corpsemakers

Thoughttown

The Empire

Team Funacid

The Jagerbombers (it just seemed to fit that peculiar sibling dynamic :P

Vanilla Sabotage (my new personal favorite)

Also, if you're going to write a DW fanfic about Sam and Revolution as companions, then I get to write a quirky road trip fanfic about Sam, Revolution, Nathan, and Remington starting a band and taking their act on the road. :D

What other Fandoms will we invade? And how many of them will get a special month?

If in lack of an idea, it´s always an option to walk into other characters to cause further reactions. (Also someone has to yell at Lucentia´s arrival.)

How many fandoms are there? :D

I also found a song for the Empire of Light.

Posted (edited)

Just to clear up any doubts there might be. It was indeed Lucentia that threw that diamond at the end.

Don't forget Black Fist and Joe's Reckoners cell. There's also Calamity's Roses, but we've only met one member so far.

That song is perfect for the Empire of Light in so many ways. :D

He deserves to be baked into a giant pie and fed to the dinosaurs piece by piece, but I suppose that ending will do. :P

I did enjoy that part, though not as much as I would have had you added "And then Nighthound died." :P

patience.

Calamity´s roses? Anyway we could add a lot more factions if we add teams like Aldo and Criket or if we count side groups such as Calamityvile or the reserves in Astoria

Right, of course. :P

"You can be all they want you to be/ You can march to the beat of conformity/ In the Empire (In the Empire)!"

Wes, at least, is too intelligent to eat something that vile. :P He might tear it to bits and stomp on it with a savage growl, though.

Most of the gameplay has taken place in Portland so far. Once we've moved beyond Portland, I'd actually like to explore Astoria more.

And my sleep-deprived brain forgot that not everyone knew about Calamity's Roses.  -_-  :P They aren't in the faction wars, so don't worry.

Phineas and Ferb songs have the remarkable ability to describe all of our madness. :P Now we just need to make this gem canon, somehow...

Not even Claudius would touch Nighthound's corpse. Even under direct orders, I'm pretty sure he'd break free of Lightwards' control long enough to disobey. :P

Oh, that's easy. Just give Saccharine a few sleeping squirrels and access to Lightwards' wardrobe, make Lightwards somewhat sleep-deprived and therefore especially unobservant, and watch the fun begin! :D

Lightwards heaved a sigh. "What is wrong with you, Claudius? It's food.

The vulture tilted his head, giving Lightwards a look that, had he been more given to anthropomorphizing, he might have thought meant "You want me to eat this crap?"

"Eat it. Now."

Claudius flew from his arm, perched in a tree, and used his wing to give the necromancer an especially rude hand gesture.

"I didn't know birds could do that," Aldo said slowly.

This can be Lightwards and Lucentia's song. :P

Sam slowly reached into her pocket and pulled out a large pair of sunglasses.

"Well, well, well," she said, putting them on with an unreadable expression. "I guess he just gave you... the bird."

Lightwards' immediately suffered a stroke and keeled over.

He resurrected just as Nathan tossed him a smile.

"Looks like that last pun was…" He too donned a pair of sunglasses. "For the birds."

After his next resurrection, which was greeted with Revolution's "That was no poultry insult on his part," Lightwards decided to stop coming back.

It´s an interesting place, not in a happy way though.

Great, now I´m curious.

That really should be easy with our characters.

The sign of true vileness? If people and animals even hate your corpse.

How about a deal? I PM you the details, and in exchange Cricket gets to kick Nighthound across the Museum. :P;)

Also, someone borrowed my computer and saw the bird puns on the previous page. I got a glare and a groan to end all glares and groans. :P

I´m tempted very tempted but there is nor way to keep him in character without any kind of fallout from that but I´m willing to trade information.

That´s what sets them of, the bird puns? Be happy they didn´t read the rest of this then. ;)

What kind of information? Or shall we take this into the nearest dark alley PMs?

We might combine those. Also, does anyone have any ideas for Reckoners?

And if you try to Interrogate CM's toys, you won't learn anything. They only know the orders they've been given.

I've thought it would be kind of cool if Jake Subbly, the student who killed Lightwards the first time, joined the Reckoners some day. I think him winding up in Oregon by coincidence might be a tad on the unbelievable side though. :P

Random thoughts: a former military man, a crab fisherman, and a former pizza deliveryman.

Darn. We'll have to kidnap one of CM's vanilla soldiers.

One would assume that they were inside the base, know the territory for their patroule routes and have some kind of parameters on whose orders to take and on which priority as well as how to react to others in general but honestly, most of the useful information, namely all the Epics that are part of his faction, only came up after they started patroling, which makes it imposible to gain it from them anyway.

They may not know everything but even a toy needs some basic information.

Speaking of Phineas and Ferb songs describing our characters perfectly….

Here's one that describes both Lightwards' and Funtimes' relationship and Lightwards' and Nighthound's relationship. :D

You're right, that does fit. Including the random Mongols bursting in at the end, strangely enough. :P:D

"One Good Scare" for the Halloween RP, and "Chains on Me" for pretty much every Warrior of Light.

Add a few potato gremlins, and it could be a scene from the RP. :P

Also, I have decided not to make Nathan's first viewpoint line foreshadowing because....dang, that would be dark. :o

Half of Phineas and Ferb's inventions seem like things Funtimes might make. And most of Doofenshmirtz'es seem like things twentydeaths!Lightwards would commission. :P

Things could always come full circle: Nathan angers Funtimes so much, she turns her more sinister side to him and ties him to a table in a dark room. (He could be rescued before the impending cycle of horrors breached forum regulations. :o)

Do I sense a nemesis relationship in the works? ;)

Hidden for sanity reasons (Voidus, open with care. :P)

I thought of that this morning, considering the emergence of dark!Funtimes. That could certainly happen....but there's also the chance of her heading in a more Prof-like direction. And honestly, that choice scares me more than anything about her character. She's at a tipping point, and I'm honestly not sure which way she'll go. I'm hoping she'll go good, but the opposite is just as likely.

Popping to tell all of you RP'ers that What Happened in Oregon is so fun to read and is now sort of like my own little TV show. I am impressed by the quality of the writing (should have realized that this would be so, since we are on an author's fansite after all) and the characterization is fascinating. I hope the fun will continue for... well, as many Questions as it takes. :D

Thank you so much! It's so cool that other Sharders actually read this.

Mailliw, I added Panacea's bit to the end of my last post. Tell me if Altermind sounds out of character and I'll edit.

Also, Nighthound never gets sick because even germs find him repulsive.

I actually like it a lot. The only thing is that Altermind would say idiot or imbecile instead of slontze.

Well, Lightwards' empire is growing rapidly, especially if Aldo comes back with Backtrack, the momentum twins, Parity, Sacharine, PP, Sandman and Fade. They would be a pretty strong coalition, that could end doing a decent bit of damage to Oregon.

I used to be worried that Thoughttown's group was too big. I'm still worried about their size, but now I'm worried that they're too small and not powerful enough. :(

His Weakness simply means he can't affect Lightwards. He can still Teleport, just not Anything touching glasses. He also can't seethrough the Glasses.

No.

Yes.

AndI'm behind again, what Exactly was Sightline supposed to reply to?

Oh okay. Good to understand how that works.

Sightline should set up a meeting for Altermind. Set it up for that day. Maybe for lunch? No reason why they shouldn't eat as well as discuss Corpsemaker's demise.

(On another note entirely, Sam's more than smart enough to have made a home in Thoughttown. There's a reason she lives in a downtown filled with Epics instead of living somewhere safer, and that reason feeds into an active dislike for Altermind. She intends to mock and deride him at every turn if they meet.)

Really? Interesting. He won't be too happy about that, but Funtimes would scare him enough so that he wouldn't hurt her directly.

Mail, you could have Timeport teleport into Mundivore and Quota, as they are heading back to Corpsemaker. Or you could just have him stumble into Corpsemaker's territory by himself.

mail-mi being called mail is going to confuse me as well. Multiple users call me that too. :P

PP is not a huge fan of AM either, I don't expect this alliance will last too long :P

PP and Altermind don't really have to get along. And Altermind already doesn't like Lightwards, he doesn't plan on extending this alliance longer than needed.

Just thought of this: Can we have have more discussion of weaknesses? Not conversations about weaknesses, but when you get a bunch of Epics together that hate each other as much as Lightwards and Funtimes, they really should be trying to figure out the others' weaknesses. The only weakness that I've seen is Scorch's. I haven't been looking for foreshadowing/hints (if there's been any), so I may not have seen it.

Altermind's have both been foreshadowed. Look at his flashback posts. Electro's hasn't been foreshadowed but the reason does come from something in his past that's in his bio

Don't forget Black Fist and Joe's Reckoners cell. There's also Calamity's Roses, but we've only met one member so far.

Or the new coalition of minor Epics.

Are the Roses the name of Revolution's hippie group. (I can't remember the term)

Are we planning to move out of Portland?

That would be cool. I'd enjoy reading their meeting

An ex-soldier is what I thought of too.

Edit: Voidus, can you finish up Soulswitch's scene?

Mail-mi, have you decided which group you're going to join?
