Seth was bored. Again. He had been waiting for so long to do something interesting, but the only thing that had happened was his interaction with that strange woman. Maybe he should go try to find her. He stepped out of the ball once again, and headed in the direction he saw her go.

@Canada Lover

He found her sleeping in the shadows.

He stared right back, a charming smile on his face.

"I think we should Do some dancing, what do you think, love?" He looks down at her.

"I- yes. Would you like your glass, dear?"

“Yes please.” He takes it from her and swirls it a little.

”Are you not in the mood to dance?”

Oh, I forgot to explain. He has an abnormally high pain tolerance, it’s his magic. The simplest way to explain it is take the pain tolerance scale and subtract the first 5 of ten. And the feels 6-10 like 1-5 if that makes sense. So a 10 would be a 5 and 9 would be a 4 and so and so forth. (I’ve experienced walking on a broken bone, and I think that’s somewhere around 8 or 9 so I’m using that for reference) Once the star gets closer he will move up by subtracting one he feels and moving the rest down until he feels a 10 as a 1 😀

"The music is melancholic."

He grits his teeth a little in his smile.

“Why don’t we try hmm?” He seems a little more forceful now.

"My dress is too long," She said quickly. "It will tread on the ground. You'll slip."

“Can we try to stay positive, love?” He pulls her closer and tighter. He is speaking through gritted teeth, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.
“Can you do that for me?”

Biting back her tongue, she refrained from speaking. She just nodded and placed her gloved hand on his shoulder, preparing to dance.

“Excellent.” He whispers and shifts himself so he properly has his hands on her waist. He leans over by her shoulder, getting close to her ear. His breath tickling her ear. “Good girl.” He smiles and pulls away, starting to pull her onto the dance floor.

She set down her glass of ambrosia on a near cocktail table as he pulled her towards the dance floor.

Everyone's watching.

Everyone's watching me.

Everyone's watching him.

Everyone's watching us.

Everyone's watching.

I have to do something.

But I can't.

"Will you ever love again?" They had asked her.

She remembered her quiet response, even after all these years. "Could I?"

"Will you ever stop hurting?" They had said.

There was a pause. Neither of them breathed.

And then she answered them.

"Would I?"

No.

She wouldn't.

She had come this far.

-------------

"It's a lovely song, really," she muttered to Cedric.

“What?!” Aubrey glares at Miros, but begins to pack her stuff up. “We shouldn’t get in trouble with the law…you should go to, Owen.” @Ookla the Prehistoric

Owen snaps back to reality. “Sorry, just… zoned out. Sorry.” He glances around. “Uh… yes, I’ll go.” Is she… mad at me? What happened?

The man whom she did not know watched the dance floor. He caught her eyes briefly, and somehow she could see a questioning look in his obscured expression, mixed with concern. It was uncanny.

Aeoryi's character issued a supposed proclamation by the king cancelling this ball.

Oh. OH. The law. Not me, right? Yeah, I haven't broken any laws? "Same," Owen said, chuckling nervously. "I love obeying laws." You. Are. SO. AWKWARD.

Richard, in the suit he had definitely not stolen from a rude lord, walks forward into the ball, completely out of his element in the Noble's ball.

The was a distinct feeling of off-ness, and it seemed to come from the man in black with a white mask in the corner. He stood out quite a bit in the room full of colors.

Richard realizes what he's wearing in comparison to everyone else, and makes to slink off to find a different rude lord to rob.

He is actually quite good at dancing, he leads her around carefully in a basic waltz.
“It is, isn’t it?” He mumbles, he seems lost in thought.

”Dear, who was that man?” He doesn’t seem particularly angry, he just seems, concerned.
