Miros took the scroll. "Perhaps if you could spread word of this, that would make the ending of this ball more hasty."

"Perhaps I shall." Sir Jeff Geoff of Somerset went around the rooms, informing the guests that the ball was ending.

Owen blushes. "Yeah, no way. That'd be awful. Not that you're awful. Or that I'd object. I wouldn't, no. But we wouldn't be courting, yeah. Definitely not."

“Well, I’ll see you for dance lessons soon. I will be more than happy to teach you.” Say something else! You love him! Say something! “It…I don’t think that it would be awful, to court you.”

Blushing furiously, Aubrey exited the ball and made her way back home via carriage.

Besides like a Minister, anything is good without needing to ask.

Minister... that is more important and would need more thought.

(Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, Minister is a high ranking government official in this time period? Ik it is in modern times, but in the early 1800s? In the version that I swear I've read existed in this time?)

Not sure yet, but it's mine!

Bran ap Cadfael, Prince of Wales, was exhausted. But the people would never know. Endless reports of rioting as the news of the world's impending doom spread had worn him nearly to the point of collapse. He was also a good man. He went out nearly every night giving alms to the poor. But the nobility would never know. He wasn't sure how he felt about his lack of recognition. Even as a Prince, people didn't seem to notice him. And that was mostly alright with him.

From his own point of view of course--he's still a rich, extremely high-ranking bachelor. There's no way he isn't noticed.

Someone knocked at his chamber door.

Unless he's somewhere else

He picked himself up off of his bed, made sure he was presentable, then opened the door.

Somewhere else?

A man stood there, in all black, with a perfectly white mask on the bottom half of his face. His eyes were a striking amber, and the prince got a strange sense of wrongness when they made eye contact. What exactly was wrong, though, was unclear.

holy crap-

So, uhm-

Historical research is important-

Actually, I don't think you can RP as the Prince of Wales since the Prince of Wales was George the Fourth, son of King George the Third and acting king in the rp

so... umm.

Maybe he can be another prince?

We're following it that closely? Fairly sure there weren't any falling stars in the 1800s. I guess you did mention it in the setting though...

Still, I feel gypped.

In this thing, we were, actually.

At least, along to George the Fourth existing.

However...

We could have it where George gave the title to your character as a gift, to the enragement of everyone else in existence when he became Prince Regent. Idk, tho. We haven't figured out who's going to play Prince Regent yet.

That would fit, considering my guy has a Welsh name and the Prince of Wales isn't usually Welsh! But if I need to change characters, that's fine (if somewhat disappointing)!

I was thinking Envoy maybe might do that

Unless you're taking about a character who hasn't been introduced yet.
