Out of all of the Factions in the Cosmere, which one floats your boat the most? Personally, I would join the Knights Radiant, because at least their motivations and modus operandi are easy to understand.

...

And they are stinking awesome.

Awakeners aren't really a faction, but I would join them, make me a Returned and throw me at the Court of Gods or something.

Radiants are powerful, Elantrains are versatile, Feruchemists are practical. All are great choices but those are more or less people, not factions - which Radiants would you join, those on Odium's side, Honor's side or neutral?

But realistically I would probably join either 17th Shard, to stay out of the way of grant Cosmere conflicts, or Ghostbloods because of Kelsier's goal of democratizing powers - he is your best bet if you want to get some invested arts (let be real, we won't bond a spren). Silverlight is a great option if you want to learn all there is about Cosmere, but they aren’t really a faction too.

Kriss, Nahz, and the Silverlight folks, maybe?  I think I'd enjoy the exploration and study of worlds, and Im not really looking to take an active role in any of the ongoing conflicts.

It's like with any job, I want to know more about the work culture, the ideals, and who would be my team and supervisor. All of the current heads of the various orders of Knight Radiant are cool to read about, but I don't know if I want to be subordinate to any of them except maybe Kaladin, and I'm not likely to join the military just to fly (I get air sick in small aircraft, not because I'm a lowlander). Working for Xisis could be cool.

Scadrian chapter of Ghostbloods could be cool, I wouldn't do well with the Rosharan chapter at all. I probably wouldn't ever get the invitation to join though, I'm too obviously who I am and I would probably bug Kelsier. Definitely not the Set or Diagram, both are basically defunct anyway.

Had I been born on Roshar I could see myself joining the Ardentia, but if I'm Cosmere aware I wouldn't do it.

Call me a freelancer.

So, like Felt? Not part of a group, if you move planets it's about as notable as moving from Texas to California? I thought about that.

So... probably I wouldn't be part of a faction or I might go with Silverlight. I want to know my odds of retiring before I join the organization.

Hard to decide.

I like Silverlight because they study Cosmere mechanics in depth, I like the Scadrian division of the Ghostbloods because they hunt secrets and fight to protect my favorite Cosmere world (and are cool with Worldhoppers), and I like the Radiants for their Ideals and the possibility of learning more about Surges (even if I joined as a support and didn't have a Spren of my own).

I don't personally think I'd like to freelance, at least not until I had gained a fair bit of practical experience and was confident in my ability to Worldhop.

In the end, I'd either choose Ghostbloods (non-Rosharan divisions only) because they're action oriented and collect knowledge (and would probably be the most okay with Hemalurgic practice) or Silverlight because they are constantly researching the Cosmere and because they stay out of serious danger.

I would spend a bit of time hunting Hoid, i want to know how he can travel the entirety of the Cosmere while having half a dozen Invested arts under his belt. Then try to get a couple of them myself.
