Elsie looked down for a moment, and when her eyes came back up there was a hardness to them.

She brought the spear around and hit him on the head like a club as hard as she could, finishing him in a single painless blow. She watches the shade nearby, making sure it doesn't do anything rash.

The shade stared directly at Elsie. It’s eyes started growing and paused in a half green half red shade. He shade stopped like a deer and headlights, attracted by the sudden movement.

Alder wakes up when the cannon goes off announcing Levi's death. He groans when he sees it's still night. "At least there's one less person to worry about."

He returns to the river to work on his raft to get across. He starts making it longer and tries to make the beginings of a bridge.

And yep! It is eternally night, meaning the sun never rises, but you still feel tired.

Sorry… I had to read all those posts.  Arc, still wounded in the head from his scuffle with Airgod and Arma, moves towards the eastern shelter. He sees that quill and task have claimed this shelter. 
if they were nice could Arc come in?

Elsie hands them her bottle of water.
