He tried again, and this time managed to reach the bottom. However, he didn't quite stick the landing, and he stumbled a few steps before regaining his balance.

They entered the kitchen. A lot of food was laid out on the countertops, including turkey, potatoes, salad, pasta, and pastries. Haly snagged one of the latter.
