TAAron didn't feel the need to say anything, so he enjoyed the moment with her in silence.

She swung her legs from where she sat up on the counter and also ate in silence, for the most part. 

"Hm. The pastries are better than last time. Musta gotten a new cook."

"That's true. But if you need something else magical to replace your magic that might not be very helpful. I guess any sort of expert would be a good place to start, though."

"I guess we could start with a normal doctor. Maybe they could just look over your symptoms. I'd probably have to cut the connection, though..."

You might recall that in addition to her symptoms returning, the loss of the mental/emotional connection can be pretty jarring and painful.

She stumbled into the wall and leaned for support. 

This was definitely worse than she remembered. 

She took a deep, shuddery breath. "Okay."
