Haly and TAAron were dumped in the middle of a green, open, grassy field. Dandelions dotted it, along with a tiny blue flower of an unfamiliar species. Off to one side was a forest, and off to the other, Haly’s castle rose in the distance. 

Haly stood, rubbing her head absently. “It’s nice here. Very… uh… yeah, nice. Why did we come here again?”

Watching and seeing that Gem was good with his group of friends, Aventine slipped away. He would be fine. 

She drifted, wandering through the halls with no destination.
