"So... how long did the musical number take? Do we go to class now?"

“That was, like, two minutes, bro. But we can head if you want to.”

Retyli had still only said that one sentence around Gem. She looked at the two from over the top of her glasses.

"You're judging me. I think."

Mead Bush wonders "When was the clinic a school?"

"It never was," Calano says, his voice trailing from nowhere, "The clinic was always a place of medicine. A place of healing. It has been some time since I have walked its halls. Is it still a place of comfort?"

"... I guess so?" Mead replies. He shrugs. "Right now i'm trying to figure out how a cheery story I made became a grimdark."

Calano's smile is audible in his voice; "Writing often begins to write itself past a certain point. Trust in that. There are always creative forces at work, that turn your writing into something for the ages. It may not be what you planned, but it is still beautiful."

Calano laughs. "Then nudge it in a different direction. It mostly writes itself, but you can... nudge it. Sprinkle some light onto your words. Put a smile on their faces. Doesn't have to be anything big, but a small push can move you out of the dark."

Mead chucks a cheerful optimistic pacifist into his story, just to see if that helps...

... it (slightly) improved. but not by much.

I was author fillabuster'ing there. I am working on what's supposed to be a semi-cheerful story, but it became very grimdark due to an oversaturation of creepypastas and darkfics. I have now forcefully shoved Pokefell!Chara into it, and am about to reset the work and start from new.

IDEA! meem.

also, I could use help with making an RP. Will add you to the PM.

MeeM returns from the mystery door, sensing a lack of chaotic randomness.

"MeeM!" ("I have returned!") he states.
