Insa raised an eyebrow. “Your family’s disputes are that big?”

Saar sighed. “They can be. My family is mostly weather related. Strong emotions can potentially have dangerous effects on the weather.”

Insa glanced at Lerac. “Okay well is that all you have to share with us?”

“If you have more questions I’d be more than willing to answer them.”

"What more do you know about the obstacles?"

Saar shook her head. “I’ve never been there. But they must be hard. They were designed to keep out divine beings. We’ve sent out little missions before built up of lesser but still divine beings. They’ve never been successful.”

“What makes you think this’ll be different?”

“So the previous groups weren’t mortals?”

Saar shook her head. “All the recovery attempts were right after it was stolen. There wasn’t any trust in you mortals after that.”

"How so?"

“Insa can explain better than I.”

Insa sighed. “Right before the Kaos war and as it was starting Bookwyrm was researching and finding a series of archives. We never found them all but the ones we did find had troves of knowledge. He’s the one with full access to all that information. And he generally has ideas of where to find knowledge we don’t have yet.”

Saar nodded.

"Okay." Lerac paused. "Would you mind restating exactly what your terms are?"

"If this group finds the temple, finds and retrieves the Ivus and bring it back to me then I will leave certain members alone, and remove my magic from your body."

"Well I mean Insa and Bookwyrm. But if others wanted me to leave them alone too we could do that."

Lerac looked at Insa again, this time to try and see whether she was considering doing this.

“How much time do we have to decide whether we except the deal?”

“Till you leave my home.”

Insa let out a slightly dramatic sigh. “Well that sucks.” She took a small sip of the water. “That’s a dealbreaker.”
Insa stood up. “Thank you for the offer but if we can’t make a decision together as a group then we already know we won’t do it.”

Saar looked shocked for a moment but recovered quickly. “Fine! One day.”

”3.”

“2.”

Insa smiled. “Perfect.”

”Let us go so we can think this through.” She picked the poker chip up off the ground “We’ll get back to you in 2 days or less.”

“Thank you so much for all your hospitality.” She motioned for Lerac and Aventine to come stand near her.

And so does Aventine, presumably

Apologies for taking so long. Also, is the other one not there anymore, or something?

Veer finds an empty cell. “Stay here until we set up your trial.” He locks the door, then runs back up the stairs, looking for somewhere to overload without hurting anyone. Halfway up, he collapses.

Uh… I have written myself into a corner… Hmmm. Meltdown now, how about. Grammar destroy, how about.

A pulse of force extends from Veer, tearing up pieces of the concrete floor and pulling bars from the cells close to the stairs. Veer’s teeth are gritted as he focuses on not blasting the now-floating objects away from him. Colors are missing from the area around his shoulder, and grey metal creeps up his neck and down his arm.
A sort of aura of voided color surrounds him, and another pulse of force surges out of him, destroying floor, roof, walls, and stairs in a perfectly circular area, except for the occupied cells. The material of the destroyed sphere floats around him in an almost protective formation. Veer cries out as he levitates off the ground and shreds his way through several floors of Clinic.

I think people might notice this. Although I guess it’s just a normal day in the Cinic.

I ALREADY TOLD HER IN LIKE MY SECOND POST! But uh… I didn’t see that. Perks of joining every possible RP and then school. Let’s just say he passed out (he does that. He’s done it at least 5 times now.)

Par looked at her. “I told you. It’s Par.”

Par hears it, and cocks his head.

Timothy regarded Charlie in the cell. He could end it, now. All the blackmail… from both sides. He shrugged, then attacked Charlie in their cell, using the explosion as a distraction.

Saar nodded from her seat.

There was another bright flash of light and they were back in the library.

Insa took a moment to regain her bearings.

”Any thoughts?”
