she raised her palms above Pic and took another deep breath. "If it starts to hurt at all, just let me know, okay?"

She closed her eyes and a purple energy began to pulse through her veins down her arms to the palms of her hands, which started to glow purple as well.

Lundyn's hands started shaking as the energy became more powerful. she was starting to worry about hurting Pic, but he hasn't made it obvious that he was in pain, so she kept going.

The shaking increased in intensity until Pic absentmindedly summoned his staves, wincing in the process. One wrapped around each of Lundyn’s hand in a warm welcoming grip. At this point, the shaking had become so fast that Lundyn’s hands simply looked blurry. With the help of the staves, Lundyn was pumping out much more magic than she had before with much more control than she had had before. Pics wounds began to close.

Pic initially winced, then slowly began to sit up as Lundyn’s magic took effect.
