"Don't worry, everything will be all right," Ezrium told Cassian, and also himself. He pulled Cassian into a sort of awkward hug and shielded Cassian's eyes from the essence and everything else.

Ezrium watched the explosive fly towards the essence's mouth, and covered his eyes when the explosion happens. The smoke floated away and he saw the essence still there.
