“Living!” He calls to them. Bob raises his hands. “It’s okay. We can talk about this.”

Rolen ignores this comment. He would win the games, and so far he’d been enjoying them. He swept his newly formed Novelblade sword at Bob’s feet and his Shardblade at Bob’s head.

“They know you’re hiding over here, by the way” Javek warns him. Darting out of hiding Ninddle starts climbing the cliff. “Catch me if you can.” He yells down.

Suddenly, a light hits Bob’s face. That light, which is actually a Mistspren, becomes a long metal pole that blocks the shardblade, but has a Shardflair on the end, attached to a chain. Bob swings Living-while-dead while still using it to block the blades, and the flail swings to Rolen’s face.

Rolen is forced to block the flail with his  Novelblade in the form of a shield, abandoning his lower attack.

Rolen stands, forming a Noveldagger and throwing it past the shardstaff at Bob’s face. Then he sends illusions out, forming more duplicates that surround Bob and circle him, making it very hard to know who’s the real Rolen. @Ravenclawjedi42

I don’t think dead radiants leave blades, their spren would still be alive. Aekelohanar did, but I think that’s a weird exception. Otherwise the items open.

Red walks over from where he had been hiding with Ninddle and picks up Flylf's item.

"Well that was easy!"

He runs to follow his companion up the rock face.

I may only be on here for a bit at a time, so just assume I'm not dying.

Wren panics, but then remembers that they have a pocket knife. It may not be lethal, but it'll have to do. Wren didn't want to die. Not here, not now, not ever. Wren tries to look like they know what they're doing, even though they're not used to having such a small blade. Wren didn't want to risk throwing the knife, being as it would just be an easy way for Amyra to take it from them. They'd have to engage in close-range fighting. Which, to Wren, is basically hand-to-hand combat. Which they suck at. Oh boy. they think to themself. "I-I'm sorry..." Wren mumbles. Then they run. They're suprisingly quick, for being 4'11".

Amyra's eyes widen, and she quickly jumps aside, the knife cutting through her shoulder. The moment of shock was short-lived, before it turned into rage.

"Don't... apologize..." Amyra said through gritted teeth, lunging back to strike Wren's ankle with her shardblade.

She ignored the pain of her shoulder, but couldn't help noticing the blood soak into the sand as it dripped from her clothes.

She really didn't want to do this.

She didn't want to kill Wren.

She didn't want to kill anyone.

Why was she here?

Why?

She felt her hands tremble on the hilt of her shardblade.

I must protect those who cannot protect themselves...

Amyra glanced at her shoulder and back at Wren's gleaming pocket knife.

Dammit all!

She plunged her sword down at Wren's ankle and lower leg.

You can decide the intensity of the injury and how well Wren dodges it, btw-

(unless thats up to the gamemakers)

“Sage!” Wren said. “I followed him and now he’s waiting at the top.”

“Storms.” Sage started shimmying to the right. He came up on the top a little bit away from Ninddle and drew in stormlight from the gems in his pocket. “Let’s do this,” he said to Ninddle.

“I can’t do that,” Sage said. “Without my item, I’ll die anyways.” Sage summoned his shardknife and charged, slicking the ground below him.

Wow you can't even remember the drawing I had my character do on the bottom of the chasm about "why does the world not care?"

Aekalohan was a man of both worlds. A radiant dustbringer, yet a true person at heart. Almost the perfect person. But nothing was ever good enough in his eyes.

The man was quickly alerted by his overly-dramatic spren. "Dude, they're like, right there, like, kill them right, like yeah."

Aekalohan looked up, and saw both of them, but continued scratching at the bottom of the chasm, using Ignis as this fine needle-like blade, to which Ignis objected to.

Dude, like, I should totally be like, a shardblade, like, SPREN AREN'T QUILLS! DUDE THERE ARE PEOPLE! DUDE!

Sadly reality hadn't reached aekalohan yet. It didn't need to. The etchings in the bottom of the chasms did nothing but help prove that. He ignored the warnings and the threats.

The games and the killers.

The people and the things.

The spren and their blades.

The tornado of champions, all fighting for each other, no one of them greater than the last.

He ignored it all.

He didn't need to remember them. These horrid games, these horrid games, they were just beyond proof of that. Aekalohan didn't care.

But should he? Much to the delight of his spren upon hearing that question, he got up, and stared at the ground where he had ben carving.

He drew defiance.

He drew an end to the games.

He drew the hope for the future, and the despair of the past.

Dustbringers were all about improvement, prehaps, but they were all about self improvement.

How could he get better if he didn't care?

But at the same time, how could the world get better if the world didn't care?

Those were all the words he wrote in the hallowed world below the surface of roshar before he was struck down the next moment.

His spren, ignis, fell and landed hilt up in the stone. A deadeye, or a shardblade, was all that remained, shadowing the ominious message written in the slot canyon of the games of despair.

[whoever posts first we'll assume killed him. I'm a big fan of this post as well, but not this character.]
