Some slam into the sides, dropping a path of dead robotic birds in their path. He pulls them back up into the sky. He has a wide devilish grin across his face, a deep rising laughter coming from within his chest. Eddie curses, loudly. She stalks around the room, yanking daggers out of the various walls and graphically describing all the things she’s going to do to “that bigheaded idiot”. Finally, after she’s calmed down (and deposited a rather large pile of daggers in a desk drawer), she turns to a camera. “Permission to go to the gamemaker headquarters?” The light on the camera blinks, and after a moment a robotic voice, the same one that counted down the start of the games, says, “Permission granted. Detours will not be tolerated. If you have not arrived at HQ in 5 minutes, there will be consequences.” There’s a beep, and the door to Eddie’s room slides open. She curses and sprints out. About 4 1/2 minutes later, Eddie enters the GMHQ, panting and furious. She storms over to a computer and presses a few buttons, and the birds disappear from the arena. “What are you doing, you little…” she growls and turns away. “What do you want?”

Bob immediately sucks in Stormlight from his gemstone, and casts an illusion around himself and Living-while-dead which makes it seem like they’re not there. Living becomes a dart in his hand, which he throws at left Rolen’s heart.

Rolen glances into Shadesmar and will continue to occasionally do so to know where Bob and his spren are. Rolen summons his Novelblade in the form of a shield, and a second later his other shardblade forms.
