I know this may not be in the vain of the majority's interest here, but I will deeply miss Robin Williams. No, I won't pretend to have known him, I won't speculate on his life or what happened. I'll simply say, him being the last living of my favorite three comedians, I am going to miss him.

I am making this thread as a sort of fan's memorial for one of the greatest comedians and actors. Post quotes, clips, videos and pictures in memory of such a man. I know it isn't the majority of this group's taste, but I can't possibly be the only one who was a huge fan of Robin Williams.

Rest in peace, Robin Williams. You are missed.

I'll start with the scene in which Mork broke out of his egg ship lol. From the show, Mork & Mindy, which I am convinced inspired one of my favorite shows 3rd Rock. (If you haven't seen either show, watch them.)

R.I.P Robin Williams.

You were an awesome and my favorite actor and you'll be greatly missed.

In agreement regarding all of the above sentiments.  I think reality is still sinking in.  He will be greatly missed.  :(

... Wait, what?

How did I miss this? I didn't hear a thing about it.

Honestly, only thing I knew him from was Aladdin so... I can't really contribute, but... damnation. Death is always disheartening.

I haven't seen anything that he's been in for a long time, but he was in my childhood a lot with stuff like Aladin and Hook. It was definitely a surprise when I found out this afternoon, definitely a little depressing, especially with how many "go happy" films he was in.

He was a part of my childhood, that's for sure. I don't remember a single Robin Williams film that didn't make me laugh, or inspire me in some way. His Genie is the only Genie I acknowledge. He was a brilliant actor, and a comedic genius.

Depressing thoughts below the spoiler.

I knew about his depression, but hearing the news was still jarring. He made so many people laugh, brought them so much joy, and yet he wasn't safe from despair. My heart aches for his family, and for him. It's nothing short of a tragedy. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry. There's a part of me that wishes I could have met him, given him a hug and told him everything would be all right, but another part of me knows that might not have helped.

I miss him.

It really is a horrible disease which has claimed the life of yet another great actor and comedian, while I was never his biggest fan like many others I have enjoyed his works and I know he will be missed.
All I can say in the aftermath of this tragedy is that if anyone on this forum is ever struggling with something like this don't hesitate to reach out and contact someone, I'd be very happy to talk to anyone struggling with any issues, I've had to struggle through some of my own and have recently had a good friend claimed as well, I would do anything to help anyone else going through that dark place, this is a fantastic community filled with great people, you are not alone.

I decided to do a small tribute to Robin by going dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire for Halloween. Miss you Robin.
