Today, sitting at 3am after working for 16 hours, and needing to wake up in another 6, I find myself here, glued to the interwebs, and unable to sleep. And a joke-thread was spawned! Oaths I would *never* swear, no matter how godlike the powers I would gain: I will go to bed at a reasonable hour I will always drive the speed limit I will only use the poll option for good I will only say nice things about the Star Wars prequel trilogies I believe that George Lucas, and not his beard, is responsible for the Star Wars prequels All of my oaths will be in absolutes, like putting the law above all else 7

I will act like an adult and not watch Disney movies I will not become so enthralled in reading a certain that when I am interrupted I try to lash that person to the ceiling I will not spend hours imagining how awesome it would be traveling around a place like new York with Mistborn powers I will respect other peoples (stupid) opinions I will not squeal whenever I see a book I rely like at barnes and Noble I will not throw books in frustration when my favorite( Pairing, character, object) is destroyed or killed 4

I will refrain from yelling at drivers that annoy me. (specifically the ones who don't use a turn signal or tailgate) I will do my homework on the day that it is given instead of the day that it's due. I will refrain from being annoying and an insufferable genius. Oh, and whoever posted that they would break the oath about going to bed, I'm in that camp. I've been staying up til midnight for the past three days. It's not healthy. 2
