"I suppose you can. Just be clean about it."

Obsidian clapped happily and ran towards the nearest kleever.

Len looked up and saw a kleever. She grabbed it and drop-kicked it high enough for it to reach terminal velocity.

"This is fun! Where are the others?"

Rayvyn slashed at a pair of them with her knives. “This does not seem…” she hesitated, not wanting to seem insulting. “It is mindless work. There is no art to killing them.” She explains, dispatching a third.

"You know, whenever I end up doing something boring, some horrendous monster always appears, and it ends up in a really cool fight." Len grinned wide.

“I suppose things do tend to work in that way,” Rayvyn nodded appreciatively. “Let us be much boring then!” She threw several daggers and retrieved them.

Dave discarded his spoledy over his shoulder with a yawn. And then he got to the dirty work. And by that I mean he perched atop a pile of trash and occasionally flicked out a chain and thoroughly mutilated a kleever.

After fully enveloping and absorbing several Kleevers, Obsidian paused. "There are very many!" he called out in disgruntlement. "Are we supposed to get rid of them all?"

Posted

Rayvyn patiently stabs and slashes at them. “We could have a contest for who can kill more of them.”

Obsidian considered this for a moment. "What would the prize be?"

"The rights to brag about it? Or perhaps...a dare for the loser?" I do hope that is the correct word. Language is so confusing.

Obsidian seemed puzzled. "What is a... dare?"

Uh oh. I hope I used the right word. “I believe it is something you tell someone to do, something daring and unusual.”

Obsidian pondered this for a moment. "So... the winner would tell the other what to do? What would the purpose of that be?"

Rayvyn shrugs and slices at another kleever. “I do not know. It is just something that I have heard people are supposed to do.” She stabs a kleever viciously as she says this.

Obsidian considered this. He was a person. Was this something he was supposed to do? "Perhaps we should try it and see," he suggested.

Dave glanced down at Obsidian and Rayvyn. "I would join your little game but my intervention would likely make it a forgone conclusion. Wouldn't want to take the fun of you mortals." Dave turned his face to the sun, basking in its warmth.

"Very well!" Fadran announced after tossing another splodey and taking out a group of five. "We split up. Take out as many as you can. We reconvene in two hours back at Somewhat Ave. Who gets the most will win a glorious prize; and whoever loses gets to take care of the laundry when we're done."
