The slime constricted against the tendrils of black, fighting harder and harder as it pushed back.

The tendrils infiltrated the substance of the monster, attempting to wrest control away from the slime being.

Irritated, the goop monster spat Obsidian back out.

"See?" Fadran gesured at Obsidian. "He's fine!"

Obsidian scowled and plunged towards the monster again. "I will eat you!"

Rayvyn laughed. “This looks like much fun!” She ran at the monster as well and sliced at the tendrils that reached for her.

Len looked up from the pile of metal that she was eating. She pulled a pom-pom from who knows where and started cheering on Rayvyn.

Goop-stained garbage began crashing about everywhere, striking around at the assailants and swinging away against the black substance trying to overtake it. Gargling howls emanated from monster itself in primal rage, punctuating each strike and movement.

Fadran - quite tired - took a seat by the pom-pom-waving child.

Rayvyn grinned. “I did not know that you people knew how to have proper fun!” Her already dark hair was covered in writhing purple goo, giving her the look of a psychopathic Medusa.

Dave rested on his perch of trash, looking down at the battle. He too, knew what proper fun was. He just didn't expect to find it while fighting a goo monster.

Klave's definition of fun didn't include fighting a giant goop monster, but it did require him to not let others get eaten by a giant goop monster, so he launched some fire at said monster to see what would happen.

What be-eth the effect of said fire, if I may inquire?

"Hey!" called Obsidian, his voice slightly garbled. "No poaching!"

Just normal fire. He can use more magically effective fire, but he doesn't usually do so unless he has to.

Klave raised an eyebrow. "Fine. Die on your own, if you wish to." The fire went out, and he folded his arms to watch.
