Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 The Sixth Archive Thaidakar ran back to the side of the shelves. The large suit of armor was walking progressively faster towards them. Thaidakar walked calmly towards it. The suit of armor was about 9'ft tall and held a wicked sword in its hands. It swung at Thaidakar. Thaidakar jumped to the side. Something in his mind clicked. He held out his hand and energy crackled in the air. A voice whispered, "Oathbreaker..." Thaidakar shook his head, no time for that now... He ripped one of the tapestries off the wall and held it up. The sword struck it, starting to rip through it. Thaidakar ran out from under it. The suit of armor looked wildly around, looking for him. Thaidakar noticed a large book on the bookshelf and pulled it out. He swung it at the suit of armor's sword as it noticed him and swung. The book glowed brightly as the suit of armor looked stunned. The blade hadn't cut through. Thaidakar grinned.

We fought the chickens a while ago. They tried to take over the clinic twice. The first time, they killed Wizard, and Emma used the Nethergrim's power to defeat them. The second, they had a guy called Lark's help. He got ahold of the Clinic treaty and put himself in control, then made a deal with the chickens to kill Calano, Emma, and the others who would have challenged him. They killed Calano, and would've stolen Emma's power and killed her, but I managed to save her." Nameless clenched his fists, visibly furious. "I hate them. Those monsters have tried to take everything from me time and again, and one of these days they'll succeed. Unl-" Nameless cut off, breathing deeply and forcibly adopting calm. She increased her pace as another scratching noise sounded from behind them; closer this time. It can’t reach us. Not when we’re this close… She didn’t dare take so much as a glance over her shoulder. I hope that other man is fighting the… thing making that noise. Otherwise, we’re dead.
